Both me and my daughter have had sinus surgery completed through them, and everything before and after was completely professional, everyone was nice, and there were no issues with scheduling.
No one at this location wants to answer the phone no matter what day or time of day it is. I don't even think they know how to answer a phone at this point. I have consistently tried calling up to get my surgery scheduled because no one will reach out to me. I have called every single day, and the call just times out and the surgery scheduler just goes straight to voicemail with no one getting back to you. They attempted to reach out to me one time, and I had missed the call because I was in the shower after just getting home from work. I tried calling back immediately and no one will answer the phone. I was told to call the Gulfport location, and they just told me to call back the Biloxi location and they'll leave them a message. Nothing has happened and nothing will be done.
I have tried to pay my bill multiple times with these people, but I am always placed on hold. I do not have time to be placed on hold every time that I call. These people must not care about getting paid or they have done received their insurance money from my company. Also, their front office staff if very rude and disrespectful.
Dr. Pisciotta is nice and a great doctor. I have no complaints regarding him. However, the office staff here is incredibly rude. My first issue was I was scheduled for an appointment on a certain day and after checking in at the front desk, someone walked out and said my insurance had not responded, so it would not be covered. I was annoyed about driving an hour for this appointment and taking off work. A phone call would have sufficed. The appointment was rescheduled and I was informed I would receive a call from someone to be scheduled for surgery. A few months go by and I never received a phone call. I decided to call them and inquire about the status. I was informed that my insurance requires a continuation of treatment before surgery. I understand the insurance issue, but what I don't understand is why I was told to wait for a call for surgery when insurance wouldn't approve it. I have met my deductible for this year, so scheduling the surgery before the end of December was discussed previously and I was assured it was no problem. The office staff was incredibly rude and made it out like this was my fault. Now I have to come in for more visits and the surgery will most likely be pushed into next year. The office staff seems to have no incentive to make sure procedures are covered prior to consulting with their patients.
This place needs some improvement for sure, especially when it comes to kids. My wife took our 1 year old here for an appointment. He's had multiple ear infections over the last 6 months and we were referred here by Dr. Brown. My wife arrived early with our son and was handed a massive packet of paperwork (could have emailed this paperwork prior to the visit since it is a packet). Once the paperwork was complete, she sat there for an hour + with 1 year old before being called back. She was told they do not have A CHANGING TABLE so my wife had to lay her freaking sweater down on the bathroom floor to change our sons diaper. Finally when she was called back, the NP or DR who walked in was talking so slow and not being helpful at all. Mind you, people have other kids and we scheduled this appt at this time because our daughter had to be picked up from school. From this experience, I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE, which is a shame, because we heard that Dr. Bratten is incredible. We will be looking elsewhere for care.
