So thankful we have the outpatient center to go to. My only disappointment was my husband needed a CT scan and we couldn't get it done today. We have to go 40 minutes away to Peninsula Imaging in Salisbury and he's in pain. Dr VJ ordered to try to figure out what is going on. My husband said he would have to wait until the CT was set up. He was hurting to bad to travel when all he would have to do was go to the radiology department to get one instead of traveling. Dr VJ ordered lab work too. Which he did. Why don't we have CT here? We have good insurance too!! Just disappointed...it took me a couple weeks to even get my husband to get checked out.

Why are the nurses at McCready Memorial Hospital: Emergency Room so nasty and rude and UNWILLINGLY to patients. They make you feel your an inconvenience and make you feel your concerns are unimportant.

Took my 2 year old there for a high fever and the nursing staff made me feel like an inconvenience. I was on vacation and away from home and was just trying to get some help. I felt they were annoyed they had to get up from their desk to treat us. Dr Devine was very nice and caring tho.

I love this little hospital. I go there for my blood work and X-rays. Always friendly, hardly any wait. I also did my physical therapy after a hip replacement. Once I had an emergency and the staff was capable. Yes, it's a small town hospital and you wouldn't go there for a serious surgery but what a gift to have when you have an emergency and time is of essence.
