A CPAP user for 20 years. Was interested in the Inspire implant. I had great talk with doctor and decided against the implant. He spent 45 minutes explaining my current condition and showed me the differences between the CPAP and the Inspire implant and how they work to open the airways. The office staff was professional and amicable.

My experience with the Wackerly office has been great. However the Saginaw office is rude and I have been hung up on multiple times and given an attitude when calling for no reason at all. This is very unprofessional and the staff needs to be trained better.

I have a hard time recommending this place, as I do not have a sleep disorder thankfully, but I do hope others that have the need have a better experience than I did. The staff is nice and answers questions with seemingly robust knowledge, but they appear to be overworked. Trying to schedule my first appointment did not go smoothly. I was left ringing for several minutes the first time I called. On my second attempt when someone did pick up the phone I was told to please wait and they hung up on me. So I attempted to schedule through the patient portal. I later learned that all of their calls go through their Saginaw office. In October I had the option to schedule an appointment through the patient portal and submitted it for the next month, in November. I never received confirmation of an appointment or any follow-up until I received an email 2 days before my appointment for December. I had to cancel this appointment because I did not schedule it. I then had to wait until January, before I could be seen. The patient rooms are the most sparse patient rooms I think I have ever seen. Nothing in them except 2 chairs and a little table showing off their masks for CPAP. I was situated in a second room with a TV and another table for displaying their masks and asked to watch a video on CPAP, before my initial test results. The video, from Youtube, is one of theirs from 2020, COVID times, and the doctor, while he seems knowledgeable, just rambles a bit and clearly does not have a script. Along with this there were advertisements playing, not once, but twice. I would think if you use Youtube in a professional setting, such as a doctor's office, you would at least pay for premium so your patients do not have to sit through advertisements for Visit Indiana or some VA Lawyer. They appear to use a generic note to send back to other providers as the language used in the note stated we had a discussion in which most the items were never even brought up in the initial 5 minute discussion of my first visit or the 2 minute discussion in my final visit. The number listed at the top of the patient portal does not work/is disconnected.

Sound Asleep changed my life! I am 47, havent slept good for years, embarrassingly snored like a bear, was always exhausted. My doctor recommended Sound Asleep labs and I am so fortunate that I went there. No more snoring, I have energy almost all day, wake up feeling refreshed. Never thought I would feel this way again. The new masks are not bulky like the old, there are several nasal only masks which is what I use. I highly recommend Sound Asleep. I have experienced both the Midland and Saginaw offices and all staff are friendly and experienced.

I was not impressed with the care from a physician that I was getting in my hometown. I felt I needed to seek a new provider. I called Sound Asleep to make an appointment and was able to get in the following day. I had an appointment with Jamie, one of the nurse practitioners in the office. She was fabulous. She took the time to explain the result of my sleep study in a way I could understand and then also talked to me about CPAP options. They sell CPAP machines for a very reasonable price right in the office. She helped me to be fitted for a mask and talked to me about the wide variety of options available. I am very happy with the care I received at Sound Asleep and will definitely continue care for my sleep apnea with this office!
