I was born in this hospital of Shannon when it was only a single 2 story small building and a ambulance. Today this hospital is a huge entity with cutting edge technology and grown into the leading business in our city. Needless to say and I believe that is why they have qualified professionals treating us with friendly expertise. There is so much I can say about this business and it would be too much to write down in this short review. In closing it has been good for our local businesses and community the employees show it with a smile and friendly atmosphere.Shannon has bought out the Memorial hospital and river crest phsychiatric hospitals and it is now solely Shannon Business center and hospital 🏥. They have outscaled the competition.

I can not say enough good things about the care I received by Shannon Medical Center and their staff. Dr. Duarte was able to see me quickly, assess me and my husband and I were very pleased with how wonderful my care was. We recommend this hospital to everyone who mentions needing care. Thank you!!

The staff, from the E.R., Surgical floor and 6th floor, were caring and attentive. The care given to our mother was exceptional. A special shout out to the RN's on the 6th floor. They were patient, kind, attentive, explained everything in great detail. and cared for our mom as if she was their mom. We highly recommend this hospital. Enoch and Alexis we are so grateful for the care given to our mom. Also, the kind lady from the 3rd floor ICU waiting room (Monday around 11 a.m.) was extremely sweet and helpful. Unfortunately, we did not get her name but she deserves 5 stars herself. Thank you all for your care.

I have an abscessed tooth that is severely infected and causing me a lot of pain. I have a dentist appointment in about an week and have been to both my primary doctor and urgent care prior to this visit. Just trying to manage the pain and infection until I can get there. I have been through a full round of antibiotic, and the infection is still spreading. The inside of my mouth is visibly infected, as well as the outside being visibly splotchy and red. It’s accompanied by throat pain, a visibly irritated throat. I have cardiac risk factors, and I am concerned about the spreading infection. After over a week of suffering through unbearable pain, waiting desperately for relief from the antibiotics, taking as much ibuprofen and Tylenol as I physically can, being woken up multiple times from the pain multiple times a night and barely being able to eat, I decided to come in last night. The pain was unbearable and I didn’t know what to do anymore and the infection was just getting worse. Visibly crying and shaking, and feeling very unwell, I instantly felt dismissed by the receptionist. She told me that I really should be at a dentist and that they can’t really do anything for a tooth here. I tried to explain to her what was going on and why I was concerned. She sat me down, and I waited for a long time, visibly in pain the entire time. They took me to a small triage unit beside the waiting room where I sat in a chair behind a curtain, still crying and shaking For about an hour, until the doctor finally brought me back to tell me that I need to go to a dentist and prescribing me some mouthwash. No antibiotics or anything for the pain. Despite the fact that I explained to her everything that was going on. I feel that they judged me based on my looks, age, and my income bracket pretty instantaneously. That’s the third time I’ve been dismissed by a Shannon healthcare provider when I am in some of the worst pain of my life, and concerned about a serious spreading infection. I have a long history of cardiac disease and early cardiac death in my family, as well cardiac risk factors myself that make these kind of infections much more dangerous. This feels negligent and I won’t forget it soon. I know I won’t be recommending this place to anybody.
