The hospital itself wasn't that bad. But the billing department is one of the biggest jokes I have ever seen. You better keep good records yourself because they don't seem to know what they are doing. I will give all my future business to the hospital in Great Bend.

The ER is an absolute joke. A nurse flipped my brother off as he was being transported to another hospital because of his condition, which they could not treat at that joke of a hospital.

The ladies at the front desk and in the emergency room, the nurses are some of the most rudest people that I’ve ever had to deal with going into the hospital facility. From the moment we walked in they gave my mom dirty looks the nurses in the back were rude, didn’t listen to her didn’t attend to her very well honestly they should be freaking fired higher new staff that’s friendly and don’t hate their jobs in their life. I’m extremely disappointed with the service that we received and on top of that the following day, my grandmother‘s oxygen was at 82 so she went to the emergency room and she was treated very poorly to the point where she was going to get up and walk out but she knew her oxygen was too low and she may not have made it to another hospital. It is unacceptable how the ER part of that hospital makes people feel and chances are if you’re going to the ER you’re probably not feeling so well anyways s so you don’t need the people that are supposed to help make you feel better making you feel like you’re worthless and you don’t matter

I recently went in for a hand injury due to glass & the service and quality of care is the WORST I’ve ever experienced. Doctor made me feel as if he was a bit too busy to properly treat my wound. I’m going into surgery in great bend tomorrow & I am just now becoming aware that there has been a huge piece of glass in my hand this entire time. DO NOT GO HERE. Save your money and go get a bottle of ibuprofen cause that’s all they are going to tell you to do.

I have had several experiences with the hospital. 1st was with my son, he had a racing heart and just not feeling well. Staff acted not concerned at all. Munk or what ever her name is has zero business being a nurse. NOT IMPRESSED WITH HER AT ALL. She is rude. When I got the bill it was EXCESSIVE. I swore I would not be back. Then, I transferred to a local doctor, had some blood work done. Lab did a nice job. I also had to have an X-ray. The traveling tech was very nice. My 3rd time was for an EKG. I was having chest pain and the tech did a good job. I do think the prices are high. 4th My daughter had a concussion when she was pregnant. They didn't really seem concerned much Was glad she followed up with her GYN. Overall, I think the admin is nice. The hospital itself is nice, clean and modern. The check in process is annoying , but then they need to make sure they get paid. Overall, I don't recommend the ER. I do recommend the lab, X-Ray and EKG departments.
