No one ever plans to go to the emergency room, but when you do have to go, you should not have to sell a kidney to be able to afford your hospital bill, even with insurance!! It sucks to feel like you can’t go to the emergency room when you need to because you’ll be stuck owing thousands of dollars and they don’t even fix your problem, they just let you know that you you’re not dying quiet yet 🤮 Charging me $300 for literally a half of a pain pill is ridiculous! It’s price gouging and it’s finest and it’s disgusting. This hospital has a 2.3 star rating. Would you want to go to a hospital and pay thousands of dollars for a place with a 2.3 star rating??! Do better Munson Medical Center!!

I saw Erin Barnum PA in the emergency room and she was so kind, compassionate Caring, and thorough I could not have asked for better care. The waiting in the ER was slightly long, but once I got back into the ER, they swiftly did what they needed to do from the nurses to the CAT scan tech and most definitely Erin. I highly recommend using this ER And most definitely not because it’s associated with Munson !Medical Center

Getting ahold of anyone here is impossible. Billing? A joke, go anywhere else. Good luck getting a hold of billing or having them bill stuff correctly. Hope you’re ready to wait four hours in the waiting room. This place is a joke. Does anyone here know how to do their jobs? And seeing the owners replies to others solidify, the lack of care this hospital gives. They just care about money, Why else would they charge me for a bill I should not have been charged for. My insurance should’ve covered it, but instead, I have to play the back-and-forth game because they can’t do their job and bill stuff correctly. Incompetency is the only consistency this hospital has.

I recently had one of the most painful back injuries of my life. I was advised by my nurse at the VA clinic to get to the Munson Hospital Emergency room in Cadillac MI. Immediately. I was expecting a long wait and having to fill out a mountain of paperwork. Neither of these expectations turned out to be true. To the contrary, they only asked me to sign my name and the date and within about 5 minutes a very nice young man pushed me in a wheelchair from the waiting room to a private room for treatment. Within a couple minutes a nurse named Chloe came in and asked me to tell her what happened and where it hurt. She was very kind and very patient. She listened to me very carefully and then she explained what she was going to do and she assured me that she could help me with the excruciating pain that I was experiencing. Chloe went to get the medications ready and sent me for x-rays. A couple minutes later the X-ray technician named Maggie came to get me and pushed me to the X-ray room. Maggie was so sweet and so gentle with me. Seeing how much pain I was in, she went out of her way to make me feel comfortable. When Maggie was taking the x-rays she was so careful to help position me in ways that were most comfortable for me even though it was a lot more difficult and time consuming for her. She was absolutely amazing !! After the x-rays Maggie pushed me back to my room. She was kind and gentle and very positive. A couple moments later another nurse named Ashley came in and she did everything in her power to make me feel comfortable. She asked if there was anything she could do for me. When I told her I was thirsty she went and got me a large cup of water filled with ice and a straw. After i drank it in about two big sips, she ran and got me a refill. Ashley is really one of the nicest, sweetest ladies I've ever met. She joked around with me a little bit to help lift my spirits and take my mind off of the pain. Her actions not only reflect well on her and Munson Medical but also on her parents. They must be so proud of her and the care that she shows her patients. Then Dr. Doran came in and introduced himself and asked me some questions about my injuries and explained what he thought would be the best course of action both short term and long term. Dr. Doran was very kind and very knowledgeable. I've had Doctors at other medical establishments in the past who were not only short with me but also a bit condescending. Dr. Doran was a true gentleman and I was extremely impressed with him and his bedside manner. Then Chloe came back in with two syringes and some muscle relaxers. She told me that these medications were really going to help me but sometimes they can be a little painful when administered. I told her I was ready when she was and then she informed me that she had already given me the shots. She was so gentle and such an expert that I didn't feel a thing. Chloe was such a Blessing. Then she turned down the lights and told me just to try to relax for a little while to give the pain medications time to start working. The entire staff at the Munson Medical Cadillac MI ER went out of their way to provide me with some of the best medical treatment that I've ever received. They literally saved my life. I don't know how I could ever possibly repay them for the excellent prompt and courteous care that they provided me with. I hope that a sincere acknowledgement of their efforts and an honest review will suffice. Thank You from the bottom of my heart to the entire staff at Munson Medical Cadillac ER. God Bless You 🙏

I just came in today because my doctor at the family care center thought I had a blood clot in my leg. He immediately sends me to the hospital and wants an ultrasound on my leg and a CT of my heart. Both the ultrasound and CT technicians were absolutely amazing. Nice kind fast women. My complaints is with the laboratory.. My doctor had a stat order on A blood panel, a CT and an ultrasound. The lab turned me away because they closed at five today and I had arrived just at 5 o’clock. Come to find out after lab admits a stat order could’ve been drawn and for some reason, I was told that I couldn’t get it done? Sounds like someone was playing hooky today During a kind of scary situation. Please learn to stand by your protocol when it comes to your laboratory. If a stat order can be ordered after five and until 7, then I don’t know why I got turned away for my blood but was able to do my other test??
