This week we received a diagnosis that our (twin) 16 month old boy has type one diabetes. Chop’s team was so professional, knowledgeable, and nurturing during this time. We are so thankful for their help.
My 4 month old daughter was transported to CHOP after having complications from RSV. The entire staff was knowledgeable and friendly. Our nurses Dana, Melanie and Brandy in 3 East seashore unit were amazing and so attentive -Always kept me updated and were quick to run into the room when her vitals were off. Also they were wonderful at helping soother her back to sleep after vitals were checked in the night. The whole experience was overwhelming and terrifying but the staff here helped ease my mind. Thank you to these wonderful nurses and the ambulance team for all their help. Truly angels 🙏
I traveled all over the tristate area looking for answers! My son 12 years old nonverbal autism boy with a gastric g tube! we had a severe emergency and this hospital was the only hospital to help and not turn us away until we had answers! I repeat the only hospital in the entire tristate area to help! This hospital saves children’s lives! And never turns a concerned parent away! They believed us even though my child can’t speak! They offered us dignity respect kindness understanding and the best possible medical care! God bless this hospital! I repeat the best possible hospital for care of autistic children with complex medical conditions!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Amazing care and kindness! The staff at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia are truly outstanding — from the doctors to the nurses and everyone in between. They are caring, professional, and always go the extra mile to make children and parents feel comfortable. The hospital is clean, well-organized, and full of positive energy. Truly one of the best children’s hospitals in the country. Highly recommended!
CHOP is the best hospital anyone could ever go to in my opinion. Ive been here more times than i can count and every single one of those times I got the best treatment ever. Its not a long wait at all for anyone. The staff, doctors, nurses, etc are the sweetest and they wont let you leave until they are definite youre okay. There very attentive and will come to your room like every 30 minutes, 1 hour at most to check if you need anything water, medicine, etc. Noone is judgemental there no matter what you say or do. I started going there when i was 9. I was having asthma attacks basically everyday and the doctors helped me figure out my tonsils were blocked. They booked me ASAP for a tonsil removal and within a week i was in for surgery. Ive been breathing clearly ever since! A few years after I was 13 or so i came in dizzy, lightheaded, low hr, and lost 20 lbs in the matter of 5 months, i went to other doctors and hospitals for this and they just said to eat healthier, might be a thyroid issue, maybe just bradycardia, etc. noone gave me a real answer but as soon as I showed up to chop they took me back right away and noticed i had an ed. I was treated so nicely during my inpatient treatment on the seashore floor and they have all kinds of therapy such as music therapy, art therapy, coloring, movement, etc. My stay lasted about 11 days and then I went home but then the same things happened again, a few months later i found myself back. Noone judged me, they treated me like anyone else whos getting treatment. This time I fully got to a good place, im at my goal weight, and still seeing chop doctors for therapy, weight checks, etc. They know what there doing, and will make all the time that they have to make sure youre okay, not just physically but mentally amd emotionally. You can always count on CHOP. They saved my life so many times. (very good food and views lol!)
