After waiting six months for an at-home sleep study, the device I received arrived damaged, taped together, and partially broken. It took a significant amount of trial and error just to get it functioning, and I’m not confident the results were accurate. To make matters worse, I was billed over $600 because the study was charged to my insurance as an outpatient hospital visit. When I contacted billing for clarification, the representative I spoke with was rude and unhelpful. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience. Even with insurance, the cost for an at-home sleep study feels excessive and unjustified.
UPDATE: It occurred to me to try calling them at night (duh!). It was a different voicemail message and 5 minutes later I got a return call from a very nice woman who told me they were booking 90 days out and to try getting an appointment at one of lvhn's other locations. Cedarcrest, It turns out, had a cancellation and I got my appt just 3 days later. ------ Been trying to reach this office for 4 days. They never answer the phone and they don't return voicemail messages. Asleep on the job maybe?
