My mom gave birth. From the doctors to the nurse to the janitor, super disappointing. 0 stars. Took 2 nurses to work a monitor for a WHILE and said they couldn’t find a heart. One of them said she’d go get another nurse and ended up GOING HOME. New nurse came and got it real quick. Horrible service. She had to ask for her bed sheets to be exchanged after birth. Sitting in blood, naked for 2 hours, had to ask for a gown, hungry and they didn’t even check up on her. She walked herself to the kitchen for some ice and juice. Mind you it hasnt been 24 hours since she gave birth. More like 10.

My experience with Mayo Clinic has been consistently disappointing. I’ve had multiple visits where I was given incorrect or incomplete information, left waiting with no updates, and never once received an apology. The lack of communication and accountability is unacceptable for a facility with their reputation. I expected professionalism and compassion, but instead I’ve been met with frustration every time.

If I could leave zero stars I would. We were there today for our daughter who is 2 months old with a fever and were left waiting in the room for over two hours without seeing anyone. When the doctor Rohini Singh came in I couldn't understand anything she said and then left. The nurse came back in with discharge papers and was very confused when we told her we didn't even know what was happening or what was going on. She said the doctor would come back in and explain and when I asked for a different doctor the response I got was "when you come to the ED that's the doctor you're assigned too". I know for a fact that you can request a different doctor if need be. While yesterday's care was amazing today was just extremely unprofessional. If I have another emergency when it comes to my daughter I will make the 40 minute drive to Rochester where I have gotten better care everytime I've gone there.

If I could give no stars I would after the way my significant other was treated by the physical therapist this morning. Nothing like being rude and disrespectful to patients. You have no idea is health issues and to be disrespectful to him without knowing him is disgusting. Thanks for not helping him get treatment after waiting over a month for this appointment.

PLEASE do NOT bring your loved ones to Austin Mayo Clinic. If you have the option, take them to the Rochester Mayo Clinic instead. This facility is the worst place you could bring someone in critical condition. Our loved one was SEVERELY neglected, and went DAYS without being fed or given essential medication for a terminal illness. That kind of neglect is life threatening on its own. The staff here are lazy, unprofessional, and alarmingly indifferent. It often felt like they were just waiting for our loved one to die. This place doesn’t feel like a hospital it feels like a cold, money driven business with no compassion. If you value your loved one’s dignity, comfort, and life, do not bring them here!!!
