Sleep Medicine Centers of WNY

The doctors are decent. The office staff is terrible. They are usually nice, but there always seems to be some sort of issue. I have had absolutely horrendous experiences when scheduling appointments, from scheduling me on the wrong day to scheduling me for virtual visits instead of in person. The hours of operation make it very difficult to actually speak with a representative because of my work hours. There seems to be little to no communication between staff members, and every time I have an issue, they do the absolute minimum to help me figure it out. When trying to schedule my sleep study, it took over a month because they kept telling me that they sent over the information and that I should "hear from them in about a week." Only when I asked for my records so I could go to another practice did they actually put in any real effort to help. I strongly recommend ANY OTHER provider for your sleep care needs. This practice isn't worth the headaches and endless frustration.

I had an amazing experience. They are very nice and make sure you are comfortable the entire time. The technician explained everything to me and made sure I understood. The room was nice and clean as well as the bathroom. I would highly recommend. I was referred and they called me first right away to make the appointment and got me an appointment in less than a month. When the sleep center asks you to leave a review it took me to the home base office and my review was left there but it’s incorrect, I went to this location and would go a million times over. Thank you!!

I had a good night with my 3 year old. She tolerated the study equipment very well. The night nurse was helpful, friendly, and made it a fun adventure for my child rather than a scary procedure. It’s not a hotel, so don’t expect down comforters and chocolates on your pillows. I think people forget it’s a medical facility. And it’s far better than any hospital stay so I couldn’t complain. They allowed dad to sleep in recliner and I slept with her in bed. We managed just fine.

HORRIBLE customer service. My husband purchased 2 masks from them and was sold the incorrect ones. When he tried to exchange them he was told it was over 30 days and basically tough luck. He explained that he didn’t need to use it right away and brought them back to exchange for the correct ones while he was in the area. He was annoyed and left the brand new masks on the counter and walked out. We’ve made numerous phone calls for 3 weeks with no resolution. Funny how the representative from the office on the phone kept agreeing with me and kept saying this is unacceptable. Now they have our money and brand new masks to resell. Their so called experts sold him the wrong ones and will do absolutely nothing about it. Apparently their employees don’t have any idea what they’re doing. Take your money elsewhere and stay away from this office and their vendor Pro2

I was referred to this office by my physician January of 2023. I contacted them and the earliest appointment available was the end of March 2023. My appointment was with Dr. Ten Brock, MD. At the appointment I was seen by an intern who went over all my symptoms and concerns. Then I proceeded to wait another ½ hour for Dr. Ten Brock, MD to come into the room and say do you have any questions and say we will set you up and you will be contacted for a sleep study. In May I called the office to inquire because of nothing set up and I received a sleep study in June. Mid July I had to call again to prompt the care and receive the results of the sleep study that they had the next day. End of August 2023, I received my equipment and was told to come in October for another appointment. When I notified the office I couldn’t make the appointment and had to reschedule. I was told we cant see you for another three months. My reply was I will be in your office tomorrow for my records I will go someplace else. After a brief hold, I was given a choice of 6 appointment times the next day. My follow up is scheduled for January 26th 2024 I cannot reach the office to verify, modify or cancel the appointment. I was told during this process that “ We are an extremely busy office and a 3-6 month wait is customary”
