Capital Health Specialty Practices - Newtown

I’ve been calling for about three weeks now and leaving voicemails. Today, 12/11/2025, I finally reached the front desk and explained that I’ve been trying to schedule a new-patient appointment and keep getting sent to voicemail. And the audacity—she still transferred me right back to the new-patient line, like I didn’t just tell her I’ve been trying to reach someone for weeks. What’s going on? There’s no way you’re that busy. I’ve called in the morning, afternoon, and evening, and still nothing.

I have been calling the office for 3 weeks trying to get a copy of my visit notes and blood work results from an appointment that was 2 months ago. I have called the office 11 times over the course of 3 weeks and have left at least 3 messages. Every time I call there is no answer. My voicemails over the past 2 weeks have never been returned. The visit notes and lab results from my appointment were never sent to my primary or uploaded to the portal.

First red flag was the fact it took a week of constantly calling and leaving messages to finally reach a human to schedule an appt. When arriving, the staff were miserable & unpleasant & seemed to be bothered to do their job. Not the kind of receptionists that should be in an oncology office. Now it’s going on 2 weeks that I’ve been waiting for a call to make next appt. I have left several messages and multiple times I’ve called and no one answers.

If I could leave 0 stars I would. They rescheduled My appointment twice and did not even leave text confirmations for this to happen so I was unaware. Thankfully I called on my way to my appointment at this location which is an HOUR away from me. They were not helpful nor seemed like they cared. At this point they are messing with MY health.... absolutely unacceptable and unprofessional. I found a new doctor to go to and they were very caring and concerned and asked me to send my results over right away so they can see if they need to see me sooner. Meanwhile, this doctors office did not even do that and were very rude.

I had chemo at MBH Capital Health, Pennington, which was for about 2.5 months. Staff is very courteous, caring and take good care of patients. From the very moment you enter MBH, you get treated very nicely. Every individual is great there. Place is clean and chairs are comfortable.
