I took a friend to the ER yesterday (Christmas Eve): we were fortunate the ER was slow. Everyone, from intake through discharge was incredibly friendly and helpful, and the entire process could not have been managed better.
Not sure if there is any friendly staff left there. Admin is rude and extremely unhelpful, nurses don’t ask questions or gather correct info. Doctors don’t want to spend time with patients- just 5-10 minutes which is just enough time for them to read your reason for visit, ask 2 questions and be done.
Drove 2.5 hours to see my dad who was brought by ambulance to the emergency department today . My mom said the doctor said it was ok for my brother and I to come back, I got to ED registration window 2 and explained why I was there and who I was to see and the doctor had said it was ok for me and my brother to come back, she made a phone call to the back nurse and was sarcastic and said the doctor with a giggle said both of these people could come back to see room 4 even though there is already someone in the room and not sure what was said on the other end but she said “I know and rolled her eyes” and said only one of you can go.. ok that would of been fine dealing with a high stress situation no one!!! No one needs a condescending patient relations person to be your front end of communication.. Do better!!!
We had the most amazing experience here. It was the cleanest and quiet ER we have ever been to. We went in on a Monday night at 9:00 pm and were helped right away. The staff we interacted with were all so kind, calming, and caring. I highly recommend going here.
Amazing staff, on top of everything, take their time and great attitudes. Advocating is a parent job and they listen. Have never had a issue, they are human like everyone else. Came on many actions for various reasons and no doubt got best care. Will be back for any emergency needs.
