Just need to share how grateful I am for the care at the MMC Weston ER. My spouse, Tom, received amazing care from everyone in the ER - providers, the incredible respiratory team, nursing, lab and registration. He had several ER visits with his throat and lung cancer. With his hospital stays he received great care also - providers, nursing, respiratory, lab, cleaning and the food team. In addition to caring for Tom, they always asked our family if there was anything we needed. All were very caring and helpful. I would also like to thank Dr Isaacson and his team and Dr Onitilo and the oncology team for their care and compassion treating Tom. He felt safe and cared for and appreciated everyone who helped him. I am grateful for all of yous - thank you, Cathy

I needed an emergency surgery on a SUNDAY almost 3 months ago. I went into the ER at 7:30 in the morning and was in surgery by 10:30. Dr. Petronovich explained everything to me in detail. I was there for four days. He checked on me in person twice a day. The nurses and CNA's were amazing along with dietary and housekeeping. I just recently had another medical issue on a Saturday afternoon. I was taken into a room right away and given excellent care. Don't let the negative reviews keep you from going there.

How is this place even funded. Slowest wait for anything let alone serious issues. Sat in lobby for over an hour while being the only person in lobby with only 4 cars in parking lot. We pay how much to be seen only for places like this to exist. The Hippocratic oath clearly means nothing to those employee here. Definetly recommend goin to any other hospital over this one

Obstructionism and being unable to get ahold of your provider is standard and everyone likes to play the "I'm helpless and can do absolutely nothing to help you GAME" so they are worse than useless. The hours of the pharmacy are terrible (no weekends and they close at 5:30 so you're SOL if you miss it. The pharmacy also has no organization to it and looks like a teenagers room with empty unmarked pill bottles and plastic bags lying everywhere. On top of that if they were any slower at their jobs they'd be going backwards. Do not seek help from their mental health unit the only thing they do is make things much much worse. Also again you will never get ahold of your provider or their staff, you get to sit glued to your phone ALL day only to never be called back as happened to me multiple times. Stay away from this place and aspirus unless you have a death wish

If you have a true emergency and you wish to live, do not go here. The ER receptionist decides what an emergency is apparently. This decision is based off of a few basic questions. (Name, DOB, address, phone number, what do you need to be seen for) A patient needing emergency surgery due to a hernia can sit for nearly 3 hours in the waiting room in excruciating pain without anyone coming to check on them. Even after a family member called them and told them someone should probably go check on me. I arrived at 4:37pm, I was called back to be seen at 7:15pm. The girl that called me back said “oh! We didn’t realize it was this bad” (again, a family member called and talked to Shea and told her someone should go check on me). My blood pressure was 205 over 96 due to the amount of pain I was in! Then they tell me they don’t have any on call surgeons! So I will have to reach out tomorrow and hopefully get in to see the surgeon. Then they tell me they are gonna discharge me because they have no rooms available to admit me . But don’t worry, they will send me home with prescriptions for pain to help me through the night. The problem is they brought the prescriptions in at 9:55 pm and the pharmacy closed at 10! The closest pharmacy that was open all night was in Wisconsin rapids. So had I been seen in a timely manner, we wouldn’t have needed to drive an hour away to pick up meds needed to control pain til tomorrow when I can then receive emergency treatment/surgery for my medical emergency. I will add I have had 9 hernia surgeries so I already knew what was wrong I just needed medical treatment. No one deserves to be treated like this. I felt as though I was nothing more than a number to them. Don’t call it an emergency room if you can’t (or can but just don’t want to) treat an actual emergency!
