I had my first appointment with Ms. Reid, BSN, RN, CCRN, FNP-S . Although not one for small talk, she was kind, competent and I could tell she wanted to do all she could to help me. The office staff was friendly and efficient. I will update, if needed, because I have several additional appointments, probably with other providers. A co worker came in to ask a question and she stepped out to answer it. In healthcare today, it is not often you find a provider that will help a coworker so readily and without hesitation. So, although I’m a nervous talker, she got me back on track every time kindly and professionally. Even at 8:30 am.
Wait time is an hr most times.nice people just not good. 2 times now apt an hr in half and sorry dont cut it
I went to this doctor once & will never ever go back. She sent me for tons of CT scans to see if the scans I had while in the hospital were accurate (needless exposure to radiation & excess cost) & then billed me $500 when I'd already met my OOP max for the year. I waited for my EOB to come to make sure I didn't owe anything because I knew I'd met my OOP & the bill looked strange--they added & subtracted & added back the $500 charge & in the meantime, they billed me again and again, until they finally told me it was going to collections. Well, I got my EOB, and sure enough--I owed nothing. I called & was told it was a "clerical error" and they'd fix it. I hope they do & before it goes on my credit report, but this should have never happened to begin with. I should not have gotten months worth of $500 bills for a charge I did not owe & then be threatened with collections for a charge I did not owe because of an error on their part, especially when the time I spent with the doctor was maybe 5 minutes & I had to go back to the hospital for more CT scans just to make sure the ones they did in the first place were accurate! Waste of time & money & no treatment. My PCP could have done what they did & for a lot less $$.
Chin, Lin, and Rhodes as well as all PA have been wonderful in caring for our family. It’s baffling to me the number of bad reviews that are majority out of this office’s control… your insurance copay isn’t this office’s problem. Medicine is an open market. If you don’t like to “wait” for such good physicians, then go elsewhere? I have dealt with “front staff” as well and they’ve been nothing but caring and sincere. Sounds like half of you need to learn to get far with sugar and you’re all sour as vinegar… I would turn you away with an attitude too, if I was treated with the amount of disrespect I’ve seen on these comments.
I found this provider by using my health insurance to make sure that I was seeing a provider that is in network. I had an initial consultation and set up an appointment for a sleep study during that first appointment. It was almost two months before they could do a sleep study, because they said they only have one technician and that he only works part time. Two weeks before the sleep study appointment I called the office to verify that they had obtained the necessary prior authorization for the sleep study. I get a call back and was informed that they canceled my sleep study appointment because my insurance is not in network. I tried explaining that my health insurance had sent me to them, and had confirmed they are an in network provider. I was also irate that no one had called to tell me they had canceled the appointment. I contacted my insurance again to re-verify that the facility and provider are both in network. My insurance even sent me written documentation that shows they are in network. I checked to see if my insurance had covered the initial consultation. This place billed my insurance $525 for the initial consultation and that they received payment of $232 for that visit. Since they are in network, I am not responsible for the remaining balance. The office has been unable to provide an explanation of their actions. I basically wasted 2 months of time waiting for a sleep study appointment that they had already canceled resulting in a significant delay in receiving proper treatment. It is completely indefensible.
