Let me 1st say that the staff along with Dr. Bixby in the actual office are absolutely wonderful!! We are so happy with the care and kindness we received by all(especially Dan). Over the years I have recommended numerous people to this office but unfortunately I will no longer do so. We started there when they were “Comfort Sleep” and had Dr. Bixby Sr. who we absolutely loved!! I thought so much of him and the care we received that when he asked me to do a testimonial on their radio advertisement I didn’t hesitate to say yes immediately!! Fast forward 15 years, now my husband needed a new dental appliance, again the staff in the office are amazing! The first set that came in were not quite right so Dr. Bixby ordered a couple more, they still don’t work correctly. I get a bill for the co-insurance which I absolutely have no problems with and I will happily pay when the appliances work properly. I called the billing department 4 times and twice they had Dan from the actual office call me and unfortunately he was not with the billing department so he couldn’t help me. They will NOT let us go back in until the bill is paid(each time we go in it’s a $40 co-pay also for something that isn’t fitting right). Finally Roxanne from billing called me back and her attitude was horrible, she was rude and condescending to say the least. When I asked for a supervisor she said and I quote “I well that’s the beauty of this, I’m the director of billing” and told me their was no one higher than her. She referred to her staff and again I quote “the little people” and when I asked her if they knew how she referred to them she told me they are her friends! With her as a friend no one needs an enemy!! She is allowing us to finally make another appointment as long as I pay in full upon leaving the office. I finally hung up on her because I will not be interrupted while speaking and spoken to in that way. Again I have no problem paying as soon as we get the dental appliance to fit properly. And again we will be charged $40 co-pay for the visit whether it works or not!! NEVER AGAIN WE WILL DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY AND I WILL NO LONGER REFER ANYONE THERE!! If anyone knows another place for sleep apnea please let me know🤞🏻

In response … an initial consultation for a sleep study that had some testing performed was billed to my insurance company for over $1000. You are correct. I received a 20% bill for 300+ Dollars and paid. I don’t feel that I spent $1000 at your office in that 30-45 minute meeting. Not satisfied with the service based on the cost. I did receive results after I called and you and told that withholding my test result was not lawful based on Your office telling me that I could not get the results unless I make another appointment with you…. to cost me more money. That is my issue. I had to call you and ask for my results. I wanted to know what the results were of the test that I was paying for... But when I call your billing department and I ask about the charges, no details were given…and they are sarcastic…take it up with them.. how about you do a little research on your own company and call up and test them / test your employees call up a little frustrated with your bill one day and see what they say and see how nice they are. People assuming that your employees always doing the correct thing is ignorance. OK I’m not coming back here. I never will go back here $1000 for an hour less than an hour of time is excessive I didn’t go to a lawyer for hours. They bill you for stuff that you have no idea what it is. They are a questionable scam. I don’t even know what I got but I get a bill for $350+ dollars after insurance ($1000) for a consultation for sleep?? And when I call the billing department, the sarcasm that they use is very apparent. they find things funny that you’re calling them and asking them why the bill is 300$+ and I hear laughing??? I found it difficult to even get the results of the tests they did? Why?? Bc they want you to spend another $350 ($1000) to tell you the results? I really hope they lose sleep ripping people off.
