The actually office in Katy has very professional staff and the remainder of this review does not apply to them. The one star, should be zero, is due to farming out several services to the Philippines. Scheduling, billing, physician request paperwork, etc is handled through the Philippines and an absolute mess and disorganized. I could understand perhaps using this area for scheduling but insurance billing, physician request, etc….those folk are far from qualified and have made an absolute mess of things delaying the process by weeks…false follow ups are made, oversights in faxing required paperwork, incorrect billing, and the list goes on…..not to mention why are cost savings for patients having to deal with this level of incompetence not being passed onto the patient? I would recommend steering clear of this center as it took continuous effort on part of myself and my doctors office to get anything accomplished.

Worst Service ever, they refused to allow me to reschedule my appointment. The first appointment I was advised by GP to cancel as I was dealing with a sinus infection, the Second appt I got my scheduled time confused another appt. And the third I was just wanting to come earlier as I have a work event that was added last minute, however the Apnix rep very rudely refused to reschedule as she advised she previously advised no more rescheduling. I'm sure I will fin a more professional Sleep study clinic.

I had quite the unpleasant experience. TLDR: -insurance does little to no help for sleep studies and cpap (cost me nearly $700 WITH good Insurance) -customer service experience is terrible (no one picks up the phone, calls get disconnected frequently, and employees straight up lie to you) Do not let the high star rating fool you, when it comes to communication and service, they are by far some of the poorest I have seen. If anything, look into all other options for a sleep study and cpap provider before coming to these guys. For starters, alot of the reviews line up with my general experience. When I called for my appointment, they left me on hold for 30 minutes, twice. I wasted nearly an hour just to get my appointment information, and got diconnected twice. I was lucky the few times I actually got to talk to someone, but I was also unfortunate when it came to an experience I had with one person at the Katy location. I don't know who it was, but I remeber I was late for my pickup for the at home sleep study kit, and when I called in the person told me that I should have been more responsible with my time and that people are waiting, that I shouldn't just expect time to be available for me to walk in at a different time in the day. I remember telling her I just needed to pick up the kit, and that I was 5 minutes away from the location. She proceeded to tell me how inconsiderate I was for being late in the first place, and how the office was packed with other patients before me. I believed her and told her I would be willing to wait, if it meant I could get the at home sleep study kit that day, and she told me that I would have to wait for a while. ...I drive up. I walk in. And guess how many people were in the waiting area. ONE. Me. This woman not only had the audacity to shame me for being late (which I admit was a mistake on my part), but lie to me about how busy they were. She went out of her way to make me feel bad, and lied to me about how many people were ahead of me. I got my sleep study. I did it, I came back to turn it in. Guess how many people were ahead of me that time. NONE! On top of that, even with insurance I had to pay $200 for the sleep study and then when it was confirmed I showed signs of sleep apnea, they slapped another $500 on me for the in house sleep study for calibrating the cpap. Whenever they called me, they were pretty good at explaining the ins and outs of how things worked, but when I called them, they were horrendous with customer service. I don't know who that woman was, but I remember she was older, and lied to me about how many people were ahead of me at the Katy location.

The clinic is fine for diagnosing your sleep disorder but no one will tell you ahead of time if you need a second one. They will spring it on you with 2 different deductibles to meet. Like anything else our healthcare is broken and they won’t schedule anything without payment being made and no offer for a payment plan. I am falling asleep everywhere but I must wait until I can pay for this to do anything. This may sound insignificant but think about how this affects those without in trouble.

When I asked for another location the the person named Jay lied and told me there were only two locations in the city, the Katy location, and the location on Bellaire in the medical center area. Jay is very rude and condescending. When I asked him for the total charge for the machine so I can purchase without payments he said he wouldn't give me the price to me because of my insurance and I had to pay monthly and won't own the machine, this sounds a scam to keep billing my insurance. My prior visit was just as bad with this location opening 20 minutes late. I will take my business somewhere else.
