My dad recently had a couple weeks long ICU stays. His ER nurse Gabbie and all the ICU nurses were amazing. Care, bedside manner, friendliness and overall performance were just simply awesome!!

I could barely walk. My left leg had gone out. Instead of it being a quick visit..12 hours go by. Interns chit chatting away instead of filing papers. Eventually I started entering into the conversations. They shut up quick after that. Got transferred to a better mattress but no injections for the inflammation .. Instead, they gave me three injections of fentanyl One injection of hydrocortisone and one injection of morphine which the morphine actually worked. And then they list on my paperwork that I can walk and everything is fine and I’m like well no shit Sherlock I have I have over five different types of pain injections in me. What do you think is gonna happen if you give someone enough cocaine, they will win a race. Stupidity was running as rampant as the lack of motivation to get things done in a timely manner. Ripped out my injection site and got out of there while the morphine as working. RETURN TO WORK ? I’m retired ! They “assume” a lot don’t they ? 11/13/25. My spine has degenerative disc disease. Easy diagnosis if I had a mri done. I want a lawyer to call me.

If I could give 0 stars I would. My mother in law was in the hospital for a stroke and while she is there she experiences another stroke and she is pressing the nurse call button for dear life almost 20 minutes and NO ONE showed up. A family member arrived and found her in distress and yelled for someone to come help. I don’t know what would have happened to her if our family member did not show up when she did. Absolutely HORRIBLE care. At this point it’s just to bill your insurance because they can’t actually help you. I recommend you avoid going to this hospital.

If you have a sick child, do NOT bring them here. My niece had gotten a fever & had a seizure so my sister rushed her to this hospital and it was hell for them from the beginning. The doctor, “Jeff” Pitta, was rude, dismissive, and talked down to my sister as if she was stupid. They poked my niece (who is only 6 months old btw), MULTIPLE times to try and find a vine and traumatized her. They even admitted to not having any infant care there but still insisted on poking and prodding a 6 month old baby. To top it off, that same day, my brother in law’s father passed away. So not only were they having to deal with the grief of loss of family but also dealt with terrible staff practically torturing their poor, sick baby. The doctor and staff will absolutely be reported. To be so disgusting and careless in this field of work is mind boggling. If you can help it, do NOT go to this hospital.

It has taken me months to write this because every time I think about the fact that the night staff sent my husband home to die infuriates me! I know the staffs names, because they were talking so loudly gossiping about most of the patients there. Gio from Miami who only loves Italian subs and judges his coworkers for eating Taco Bell, Elaine the nurse who erased the board when I asked if that was the correct information and stated that the board doesn't get updated during the night shift. And only came into the room twice. The second time was an hour and a half after my husband arrived from the CT Scan. Brad the EMT who flirted with a blonde lady about tiktok videos that she was showing him on her phone while he drank his tea or coffee. The doctor finally showed up and claimed even though his blood pressure was high, there was fluid in his lungs, and they know his history of stroke, heart condition, and recent triple bypass there was nothing they could do and was dismissed. But thank God I knew better he was having the same symptoms as when he had his stroke. We left and I drove us to REX where they were shocked he was sent home because he was in heart failure and needed a stint put in right way. They rushed him to emergency surgery and he stayed in REX for about a week! DON'T go to Wayne Memorial unless you want to be neglected and possibly sent home to die!
