I had my breast ultrasound done at Atlantic Medical Group Radiology at Chilton, and I really want to mention Mrs. Patel, the technician. She was so patient, gentle, and very thorough. She took her time with every area and made me feel completely comfortable. After my breast US, I saw the radiologist, Dr. Nicole Lacz, She was very kind and supportive, explained everything clearly, and really took her time with me. I’m really grateful to the whole team for taking such good care of me.

I was recently at Chilton for minor surgery, I can not say enough good things about my care. From the friendly smile from the receptionist , the helpful volunteer in admissions to the surgical team. They were all friendly, and helpful. I felt I was in good hands, having my surgery there was the right decision.

It's very difficult to understand people from another country... therefore, when they're explaining care For a family member, you cannot understand them. When meeting with doctors, they say one thing and do the opposite the care here is very poor if you do not stay with your family member, your family member will be ignored. The staff complains to you that they have other cases that they have other patients. And their hands are full. I really don't care and neither should you.Because you're there for your family member to get well, or perhaps even have end of life care. They don't administer medication on time, so you will need to keep track of the medication of your loved one. And when it needs to be administered. Also, make sure you're ahead of it. Because if not time will lapse and your loved one could possibly be in pain or remain sick.. Their goal is to get you in and to get you out.And not heal you, it's about the money. If your insurance or medicaid or medicare, whatever it may be says that your loved one needs to leave. They will kick you out. They don't care if you're better, they don't care. If you are stable. The doctors on the third floor the nurse is on the third floor the nurse supervisor the case manager kathy doctor Velam nurse sneha... Very dismissive very rude unprofessional. They treat animals better than the staff at Chilton

The emergency room staff at Chilton Memorial Hospital delivered outstanding care, with each role contributing uniquely to an exceptional experience. The triage nurses were swift and empathetic, assessing my condition with precision while offering calming reassurance. The registration staff handled paperwork efficiently, minimizing stress with their friendly and organized approach. The ER nurses were phenomenal—attentive, skilled, and compassionate, ensuring I was comfortable and informed at every step of the way. Especially the attending physician (Mark Stansfield) demonstrated remarkable expertise, clearly explaining my diagnosis and treatment plan while addressing all my concerns with patience. The radiology technician was professional and gentle, making the imaging process smooth and quick. Even the support staff, like the aides and housekeeping team, were courteous and kept the environment clean and welcoming. The seamless coordination among these roles created a supportive, high-quality care experience, and I’m incredibly grateful for their dedication.

Exceptional Maternity Experience at Chilton Hospital – A+++ My wife and I recently welcomed our healthy baby boy into the world at Chilton Hospital in Pompton Plains, NJ, and we are incredibly grateful for the care we received. From labor and delivery to postpartum, the entire maternity experience was phenomenal. We truly couldn’t have asked for better treatment during such an important and emotional time in our lives. From the moment we were admitted, the staff made us feel supported, safe, and cared for. The nurses in the maternity ward were nothing short of angels. We want to thank Becca, Amber, Lisa, Lydia, Chelsea, and so many more whose names we may not recall, but whose compassion left a lasting impression. They were incredibly gentle, attentive, and loving with our newborn son, and just as thoughtful and caring with my wife. Their kindness meant everything to us. Becca and Amber, in particular, were with us from our initial hospital visits and stood out as true gems. Their empathy, professionalism, and dedication went above and beyond. They offered us comfort, information, and encouragement when we needed it most, and we will always be grateful for the role they played in our journey. We also want to recognize Dr. Kennisha Gilbert, the on-call OB during labor and delivery. She was amazing—responsive, confident, and so knowledgeable. Her quick actions, calm demeanor, and thoughtful advice helped guide us through labor with ease. She even offered tips and tricks that made the process smoother. We truly felt we were in the best hands. The postpartum care was just as outstanding. Nurses checked in frequently, helped with everything from recovery to breastfeeding, and never once made us feel rushed or overlooked. The continuity of care, the smiles, and the respect we were given made all the difference in those early, fragile moments with our newborn. Another huge plus for us as a Muslim household was that the hospital provided halal food options. This is something we didn’t expect but deeply appreciated. The food service team was respectful and accommodating, and the availability of halal meals made our stay that much more comfortable. It’s rare for hospitals to be this inclusive with dietary needs—A+ for that effort. Security was also excellent, especially in the maternity ward. We noticed how strictly they controlled access and how alert and aware they were at all times. This gave us peace of mind as new parents, knowing that our baby was in a safe and well-monitored environment. Now, if there's one area we believe could be improved, it’s the emergency room entrance staff. We had a few experiences where the communication and attitude from the front desk were lacking—some staff were rude and dismissive. It wasn’t everyone, but unfortunately, this happened more than once. First impressions matter, especially when patients arrive during vulnerable situations. We hope the hospital takes this feedback seriously and provides better training on communication and empathy for that area. That said, the minor issue at the ER entrance doesn't take away from the truly exceptional experience we had in maternity. The love, care, and professionalism we received deserve recognition. The maternity department at Chilton Hospital is a model of what patient-centered care should look like. If you are expecting and searching for a hospital in Northern NJ, look no further. Chilton Hospital gave us the safest, warmest, and most reassuring birth experience we could’ve hoped for. Thank you to everyone at Chilton — our son is here today because of you, and we will never forget your kindness. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU. I don’t think that’s enough of how much love, care kindness and support we received.
