Noran Neurology Sleep Center

I came on here to leave a bad review but it looks like I will just be echoing what everyone else has said. We were referred by the St. Frances ED to be seen within 1 week for an urgent new condition. They told us we would have to wait 2+ months they didn’t care about the referral or the condition. The scheduler on the phone was not a triage nurse and didn’t even know how to pronounce the medical condition or care a little bit to try and help us. Maybe the Drs are good but I won’t be finding out because we will be looking elsewhere for our care.

We have had an incredible experience working with Dr. Ferguson from Noran Neurology. Our infant had symptoms that required an ER visit, brain scans and follow up- as a first time mom I was terrified. Dr. Ferguson called us personally the morning after our ER visit, walked us through what to keep an eye out for an ensured we got an appointment first thing Monday. She also made sure we knew how to reach her team over the weekend if we needed to. Since then we had our visit to the office- the front desk was kind and helpful in getting all paperwork done and future tests scheduled. We arrived when they said to and waited exactly 2 minutes before being taken back- I figured we would have to wait there but Dr. Ferguson greeted us at the door. She was kind, friendly, and so wonderful with our son. She did a great job of striking the balance of reassuring us that everything is/will be okay but also taking our concerns seriously and scheduling follow up accordingly. I feel so grateful we were referred to her and have her on our team!

This was my first visit to this office of Noran, where I was seeing a new practitioner (my previous doctor at a different office left the practice). I arrived early as requested; the pleasant receptionist explained paperwork to be completed, and later took me back to an exam room exactly at my appointment time. I was pleasantly surprised to see Dr. Todd waiting for me there! It was obvious he'd read my file, discussing my medical history and medications. I found his exam to be thorough and his demeanor professional yet kind and personable. He was knowledgeable about my condition, asked me questions and encouraged me to do the same. I was thoroughly comfortable and impressed with Dr. Todd and the staff at this Noran office.

Switched here after having the most negative experience at the second biggest clinic in town. Saw Dr Friday and I was blown away! She studied my history (no asking “tell me what’s going on”), took the time to explain every detail and made me feel heard and reassured. She had a wealth of knowledge and came up with a plan forward. She also supports holistic views!

This place is an absolute joke. My son has extreme headaches and we got referred to this Noran Neurology. He is 8. Took us months for the appointment and the whole appointment was maybe 20 minutes. After explaining to the Dr of my son’s symptoms, trauma, and his throwing up with these headaches, she came to the conclusion that he’s got migraines, did NO tests, and REFERRED ME TO A DIFFERENT NEUROLOGIST. It takes months for these appointments to happen and the woman doctor at Noran Neurology did absolutely nothing. I got referred, thrown a prescription that is not even appropriate for my son, and prescribed vitamins. ABSOLUTELY A JOKE. Do not go here if you care for your child and want actual help. Trust me, look for something better. Oh, and yes, it is extremely hard to cancel the appointment but Noran does nothing about the complaints so it shows how much they care for their clients. I will now wait for the AI generated response. Have a nice day.
