Good afternoon, My name is Edison Quizhpi. I am writing this email to file a formal complaint regarding the poor treatment my family and I received at the Fishkill office. Approximately two weeks ago, I called to schedule a sleep study for my 5-year-old son. After several days without receiving any information, I called the office again to ask why no one had contacted me. The receptionists spoke to me in a very rude manner and told me that they “do not make appointments,” and that the pediatrician had to call them instead. I contacted my son’s pediatrician, who then sent all the required information to your office. Even after that, I still did not receive any updates or instructions. Today, Friday, November 14th, I called again to ask why I had not been contacted. Once again, the person who answered spoke to me angrily and told me that the doctors there are not pediatric specialists and that they do not see children. She also said that they had contacted my son’s pediatrician to notify them that they do not treat children. This is completely untrue. I spoke directly with the pediatrician’s office, and they confirmed that no such communication was ever received. I am extremely concerned and disappointed. Health care is not something to play with—especially when it involves our children. I do not understand why I was made to wait two weeks for information that could have been communicated on day one. They claim to offer a study in Fishkill .When I asked I was told only available in Carmel Ny.
