This place is a mess. I have been trying to call them for over 2 weeks and their phones are never on during opening hours. The answering service cannot take messages and when you email them, they take 3+ business days to reply. I missed a call today by 2 minutes and when I called back, guess who answered! They gave me another number to call and when I did, the person who answered was annoyed I called their office and not Hamden. She then gave me an appointment in March, which sounds like she pushed me out because I was bothering her. She lied when she told me Yale was booking out in November 2026 because I spoke to Yale this week as well and they had openings in February, and not a cancelation opening, new patient consultations. Save your time and don't play games with these people!
Carmen & Kelsea are wonderful!! Great customer service and professional!! They both extend themselves to help as best they can to make sure your needs are met!
My experience has been great. The two receptionist at the front desk, have always been courteous and address my concerns promptly. I appreciate their attention to detail, and always make sure when I leave all my questions are answered. I'm very pleased with the way I'm treated in this office.
The absolute worst experience of my life. I did two sleeps tests overnight with them. They said they were gonna order me a machine then when I talked to them the next time they didn’t have any of that information they screwed up my appointments four different days gave me a card with a date and a time and when I showed up, they said it was the wrong time even though that’s what they had wrote me do not go here they canceled my appointment also one time because they called me two times in the same morning after they already confirmed with me the day before and the two nights before and just gave my appointment away. This is the absolute worst customer service. No one knows what they’re doing the doctors are not professional either. Do not go here. Absolutely do not go here. They’re just steal your money. !!!!
2 Stars b/c the MD I spoke with was good. After that it all goes down hill. Day of initial appointment I was called one hour before scheduled in office visit to say it was now going to be a telephone call, ok fine. Caller then called hastily requesting my insurance card info. It was still during my work hours so I didn’t do it immediately and she called again. In office sleep study is scheduled ( I rearranged other appointments to accommodate this visit) 2 days prior I called to see if I can switch my arrival time only to learn my appointment was cancelled because prior authorization wasn’t obtained! Again, I only learned of this b/c I called the office. They called and informed that I’d be doing a home test, but was not able to determine the cost and I can p/u equipment I was instructed on where to place the monitor and to change the batteries, nothing about the indicator lights…. Lo and behold the device doesn’t work and there’s no reading for most of the time of the study and I’m now eligible for that in office study…. About a wk before in office visit i get a phone call stating I have a balance and if not resolved I can’t have my study, What????? I hadn’t received the bill yet at this point so of course I’m not paying blindly. Called the billing office to mitigate (they offered 30%off I foolishly agreed in haste b/c I was at work and rushing) I didn’t want to read my card # out in the office, said I’d go to the portal, less than 24hrs later they’re calling asking why I didn’t pay through the portal yet. At this point I’m thinking of just severing ties, calling my insurance company and suggesting they remove the practice as participating providers and informing my PCP and getting a referral elsewhere especially reading the other reviews. To add- my scheduled study was cancelled (w/o notification of course) Received a phone call Monday which confirmed that the appointment was cancelled due to my review but was asked how I wanted to move forward???? By finding a new doctor of course!! Complaints w/ state officials and insurance company initiated.
