Same experience as others on here. Terrible follow through/follow up. Was told for a month and a half they were going to get my sleep study approved and scheduled. Never done. Had me come in for a follow up to “review results” for a test that was never done. The doctor didn’t know that they didn’t have results for the test that they ordered. When confronted on the bad communication I was told by the Dr it isn’t their responsibility to keep me informed. When I left after being talked down to by the Dr she said OH PLEASE find someone who will provide better care. Believe me, lady, won’t be hard. Look at your reviews! What an incompetent practice
**Changed to 1 star!!** IMPOSSIBLE to contact! Went for my follow-up with the doctor 3 weeks after 2nd study. They did not send any notes over. Office tried for 2 months to contact with NO RESULTS! Latest dr follow up and was told I was the fifth person that week with the same problem. 1+yr later & still no cpap... according to doctor I have a severe complex sleep apnea. Things are getting worse as I am now starting to pass out during the day. Went on 3/17/25. I wish I remembered the girl who took care of me's name because she was very friendly. I have a hard time walking long distances and it was quite a distance walking in to get to the lab. Also the bed was way too soft!
Better sleep center's statewide ECHN would be bottom of any list one star is a compliment enjoy it because I didn't enjoy the stay.
Please read this and DO NOT go here. Dr. Schoup was late, rude, and gave me no helpful information and after waiting months all he had to say was there is nothing else I can do for you, you don’t have sleep apnea. I knew I didn’t have sleep apnea I went there because I had severe insomnia. They also had information in my chart that was wrong. Uncaring and very unprofessional!! Please do not waste your time you will be sorry!
They do a great job setting you up, but after that, don't expect any follow up. Don't call because it's a waste of time. No one in the office is on the same page. Everytime I called I got different information. Definitely would not use this sleep center again. The worst part is someone recommended this place. Seeing that it was close to home I decided to give it a try. I am taking the ride to Hartford's sleep center and must say their customer service is awesome and their team so far seem to be on the same page. If I could give any advice to ECHN Sleep Disorders Center: if you don't know the answer, ask someone who may know and if you don't work in a specific department don't answer questions for that department. Also, learn the rules and procedures for where you are working.
