These reviews are true in experience too. I was seen in March and tried to get another appointment. The almighty gate keeper said she would put me on a waiting list..Fine One or two weeks later she calls and leaves a message she called 3x and I didn't answer so now I'm out. Out of what? Your dominating ways or his seventies style practice. Both should retire long ago. Strongly do not recomend..there's others who Want your insurance money!
Just got thru reading reviews. I have been to Dr. Glaberger before and was VERY unhappy with his bedside manner.!!! I am being sent to him again and am NOT looking forward to it!! I got NOWHERE with him or my health the first time. NOT a good experience. Might just CANCEL
Couldn’t believe the MOUNTAIN of paper on his desk. No wonder he doesn’t have people in his office. You wouldn’t be able to see him. And it wasn’t even files, just loose paper. He had piles 1-3 feet high across his entire desk. Was absolutely disgusting. So unfit for a doctor
Update: Looks like I get a silly reply, too - lucky me! No. He had already, in the first appointment prior to the sleep study, regurgitated all of the readily-available information about “proper sleep hygiene” that I told him I already follow. The study was supposed to look further into what might be causing my issues. If all he deduced from the results was that I didn’t have sleep apnea, then further testing could have been done, like a Multiple Sleep Latency Test - which is what my current sleep specialist is sending me for. If I had known at that time that it was necessary to request specific medical testing from a doctor, I would have done my research and brought it up, but I naively thought Lawrence Glaubiger would…seek a diagnosis. You know, like the whole point of going to the doctor? My experience was the same as Alex’s…impatient, short, bad listener. After the study I was told nothing other than “you don’t have sleep apnea” and to follow up in a year. My doctor didn’t suspect sleep apnea, and that’s not why she had sent me for the study. Why would I then return for a follow-up…? So you can see how much you failed to help, how much worse I’ve gotten, and tell me again that I don’t have sleep apnea? Now a year later I’m looking for another sleep specialist, as my issues are still untreated (despite my referring doctor trying her very best) and I have zero quality of life, and saw the name come up - figured I should warn others. Go somewhere else. There’s a place in Manchester with nothing but 5-star ratings. The reply is laughable too…I don’t think Alex’s poor experience was “that day” and it’s pretty improbable that the collective 4-6 visits between us just so happened to be the doc’s “bad days” - then to say “your disorder must have needed more discussion!” Well, where was the discussion? Same place that mine went, I guess? If you want better reviews, provide a better service. But if you’re in a profession meant to help people and have the same attitude as an underpaid, overworked retail employee…it’s probably a lost cause. Everyone else in the office was lovely. I’m going to go take my daily 14 hour nap now, but hey - at least I don’t snore!
Dr. Glaubiger had a very friendly administrative assistant, but he was the most unfriendly, impersonal, and impatient doctor I have ever seen! In our first appointment, I expressed concerns about my daytime drowsiness, and he just gave me even more canned advice than what is already on the internet. While he did approve a sleep study, he barely went over the results of it during my next appointment. He literally walked me out of his office as I tried to squeeze in the most basic questions about it. I was supposed to have a one-year follow-up appointment with him. Instead, I had his office fax my sleep study to my primary care physician. My primary care doctor went into significantly more detail about the results of my study, including some key details that Dr. Glaubiger failed to disclose. These details explain why I feel so tired during the day. My primary care doctor also gave me some possible solutions. I would rather have had a robot as my doctor than Dr. Glaubiger.
