The GI department here has been nothing short of phenomenal.. Adam Purcell, GI, has been personable and incredibly helpful. Responsive, timely and caring. Im grateful to call this clinic my GI home.
Don’t waste your time with this place. Tried to schedule a quantiferon TB test with a universal health pre employment order. It was a nightmare, transferred to infection control 2x, hung up on 1x, and the scheduler tried to do standard intake on me for a new patient and schedule a follow up reading. If you are a traveling healthcare worker, you’re better off going to the cities if you can make a trip out of it.
Dr Chapman hands down the best provider I have ever met. So informative, caring. He listens. Wants you to ask questions. He is quick to getting back to you/ Just had a surgery with him and he did fantastic!!
I went to the birthing center located in this hospital in April to have my first son. I was induced and got a foley balloon. The next morning one of the nurses ripped it out in front of my sisters and then told the doctor it had fallen out. A nurse that was in training had checked my dilation without another nurse checking and had thought I was 6cm. They broke my water and gave me the epidural, only to find out hours later that the nurse in training mis-measured me and I was 4cm, not 6cm. The epidural ended up not working due to this. After I had my son I had to wait an hour to get up due to getting the epidural. I had told them right away that I had to use the restroom. They told me that I could just go on myself. I was sitting there for three hours waiting for a nurse to help me to the bathroom sitting in my own urine. They told me that it was a liability for my sister or fiance to help me. Me and my son ended up getting an infection, not sure how, possibly them breaking my water too soon, or me sitting in my urine. Either way this experience was very traumatic. I ended up spending 6 days in the hospital with my son due to infection. I will not be having another child at this birthing center.
This clinic hosted my first covid shot. Three of us went in and got through very quickly. To be honest we didn't expect so much individuals to be there so it was a bit of a scare seeing the long lines. We joined the registration line, and we were processed quickly, next, we joined the "shot" line again we didn't even noticed we waited 10 minutes until we were called by Nurse Kirsten. Our shots were given in seemless order under the warm professionalism of Kirsten. Next we were directed to the last desk to make our second appointment, that went quickly as well, then we were guided to the waiting area. Throughout the entire ordeal from the ladies in the entrance area to the team in the lined areas, we experienced nothing but good and patient customers service. The ladies and the older gentleman (Guest Services) were willing to answer your questions and have a cheerful conversation. We didn't feel rushed, we had no I'll effects just respectful persons coming and going and doing their jobs. The environment was also very clean which was a plus.
