My PCP put in a referral to this office on September 23, 2025. After not receiving any correspondence from Coastal Sleep Diagnostics for over a week, I decided to call them. They said they received my referral but the symptoms were missing from the clinical notes field. The call representative is also located out of country. After calling my PCP they said they would resend the fax with the symptoms in the clinical notes field. I call Coastal Sleep Diagnostics back a month later on October 23, 2025 after not hearing from them at all again. For a second time they tell me the symptoms are missing. I go to my PCP in person and tell them to resend the fax AGAIN with the symptoms please. That was done yesterday morning. I call Coastal Sleep Diagnostics again today to ensure they received the fax and it includes the symptoms in the clinical notes field. The representative said, “I am sorry sir but we have not received it yet, it can take us 3-5 business days to sort through the faxes.” I’m sorry, WHAT?! 1. No way they are doing that much business with barely and reviews. 2. Even if they were it does not take 3-5 business days to find a fax. TL;DR: This place is a scam do not waste your time trying to use their “services.”
Very strange experience, that doesn't leave one very comfortable. Off shore call reps call looking for credit card I formation over the phone. Unsure how this can be considered PCI compliant.
These people steal your debit card information. I have never had an appt here or had a sleep study done. I don't know how they obtained my debit info, but I received an email stating they had it and to update my payment method. Be careful!
I was initially happy that they got me scheduled when they did. They told me they were booking out until May or June. But I kept calling and they told me an appointment opened up. So I went today at 8:30pm for my appointment. The room in the building was completely black. I rang the doorbell nobody answered. I called the telephone number posted no body answered. I finally reached the main office in Lincoln, RI and told them nobody is here for my scheduled appointment. About five minutes later the technologist called back and said she messed up her schedule and she thought she was off tonight. She said she was on vacation. I have been suffering sleep apnea since I was 9 years old. My current CPAP does not work most of the time. I do not want to wait another six months for an appointment to become available. I also suffer from heart failure and lung issues. I wouldn't call it horrible scheduling, but it seems the technologist just obviously didn't want to work tonight.
Received my sleep 🛏 💤 study here/ very clean quiet/(Wendy was my sleep tech,,she was great) there was another person there also in another room,,also doing a sleep study /the only icky thing is the paste they hav to use to make the little probe or sticker things / that monitor all of my movements and awakenings (it was gross in my hair) but it did wash out easy enough when I got home ) this was something that I needed to have done and I’m glad I went here /safe clean quiet / and extremely thorough
