The Sleep Spot- Colorado Springs

Allen made my sleep study experience as comfortable and easy going as possible. This place is awesome if you need a sleep study. Would recommend, 5 stars!

Heather Reese is a caring, patient, conscientious, and highly knowledgeable professional. I have ultimate confidence that she is going to continue to try options for my sleep issues until we have together identified the very best solution for me. I highly recommend her for anyone who is having trouble sleeping!

Heather was extremely well informed, personable and professional. I highly recommend her as a well trained and fully equipped technician. Give her a raise and keep her incentivized the be the face of the company.

If I could leave 0 stars I would. You only ever see technicians in person. The telehealth appointments I had with Elaina were not productive. After my initial study, she was unwilling to discuss alternatives to treatment. She said "the only thing you can do is get a CPAP and even that may not solve your problems". She insisted that I get a mask fitting appointment done, even before I get pre-approval from the insurance company for my overnight sleep study. Then I get a call saying that the billing department, which I think is farmed out to a call center, saying that I will need to pay for my study out of pocket because my insurance rejected the pre-approval and they wanted to schedule ASAP. I told them no, I wasn't going to do that. I have asked repeatedly to talk to Dawid Rechul, who is allegedly the supervising physican, and been told he doesn't speak with patients. After multiple attempts over the course of a couple weeks, I was finally able to speak with the manager, Heather. I tried to tell her about why I wanted to speak to Rechul, that I didn't think the billing was fair, the problems I had with the telehealth advisor, and saying they were violating state law by denying me the opportunity to speak with Rechul, she started yelling at me and talking over me and saying the only option for treatment was a CPAP and insurance would cover it. I told her the conversation I had with billing and said I wasn't scheduling anything until I had some sort of notification from my insurance. She kept reading my test results at me and eventually she hung up on me. I finally contacted my insurance company and they said they have not received any requests for pre-approval from the this clinic, but the clinic didn't have a problem processing the first 4 appointments I had with them. If you have the option to go somewhere else, do it. The Sleep Spot Maimonides is just trying to take your money and don't actually care about patient rights or health.

This place has been amazing. My pcp referred me to a different place first and nothing went smooth or efficient there. I called sleep spot and instantly put as ease and everyone has been helpful and professional. They have gotten me in same day or within a few days for appointments, results are back quick, and I needed special paperwork for my job and that was done same day. Also so helpful getting you going on cpap and mask fit and all that goes with it.
