Dr. Sammy is an exceptional surgeon and equally exceptional person. He genuinely cares about his patients. I went from an unbearable situation with my wrist / hand to full functionality. He was very thorough in my treatment and testing leading up to my surgery. Every scenario and potential outcome were discussed ahead of time so my expectations were definitely managed. I would highly recommend and if I ever left the area I would travel back if I ever needed treatment again as he is the best.
After seeking care for severe calf pain, I visited Julianna Turner in Chestnut Hill and was thoroughly impressed by her exceptional care. From the moment she entered the room, Julianna exuded professionalism and genuine interest, asking insightful questions that made me feel truly heard. Her outstanding bedside manner and clear passion for her work turned what can often be a stressful first-time appointment into a comfortable and reassuring experience. It is rare to find such a dedicated provider, and she truly made all the difference in my care.
I recently saw Dr. Magit for an orthopedic consultation, and I was very impressed with the entire experience. From the moment I walked in, the staff was friendly, efficient, and made me feel comfortable. Dr. Magit took the time to really listen to my concerns, thoroughly reviewed my history and imaging, and explained everything in a way that was easy to understand. I appreciated the thoughtful, patient-centered approach and never felt rushed. Even though this was just an initial consultation, I left feeling confident in the plan and reassured that I’m in excellent hands. I would highly recommend Dr. Magit to anyone looking for an orthopedic specialist who is knowledgeable, professional, and compassionate.
My father, a dialysis patient with a J-tube, came to the ER at Beth Israel on October 15th at 8:30 PM after his J-tube popped out and was leaking. He is NPO (nothing by mouth), on continuous feeding, and requires regular medications. During the visit, staff only came to draw blood around 11:50 PM but then placed him back in the waiting room while the J-tube was still leaking. The sponges to manage the leak were not changed or cleaned until around 2:00 AM. I understand that feeding and medications couldn’t be given until a new tube was placed, but once it was fixed, he should have been monitored to ensure he was stable. He should not have been sent home with a UTI that cannot be treated at home. Before discharge, I asked if he was stable and whether he had received water or sodium, and I was told he was stable and that he did not receive water or sodium. My father was extremely weak from over 24 hours without feeding or water flushes. Yesterday I was told by his dialysis center that he almost couldn’t start his treatment since his blood pressure was so low. His lab results, showing Pseudomonas aeruginosa, were available in his MyChart since October 15th, yet we were not contacted until today, October 17th, when the hospital called asking him to return for proper treatment of the UTI. Sending him home under these circumstances represents a serious breakdown in patient safety and communication. (Picture is from today the 17th)
Dr. Robert Davis is an outstanding orthopedic surgeon. He took the time to thoroughly explain everything about my shoulder condition, making sure I fully understood what was happening and why. His depth of knowledge is evident, and he instills complete confidence in both his diagnosis and treatment plan. He carefully reviewed my shoulder history along with my recent MRI, connecting all the details to give me a clear picture of the situation. His approach is both professional and reassuring, and I trust his expertise completely. Now, two weeks later, my shoulder feels great and I’ve resumed my normal activities—I can’t thank him enough.
