Bernard J Durante, MD PC DBA Plymouth Ears, Nose and Throat (Weymouth)

I was diagnosed with severe apnea five weeks ago by Dr Durante and underwent a follow on sleep study four weeks ago in the Sleep Lab. It took three weeks for an appointment to redetermine I have very severe obstructive apnea. Despite the severity of my condition I have yet to hear from the company that will supply me with a much needed CPAP. When I called again to find out why I haven’t heard anything, I was told that the person that sends the prescription in to the company provider of the CPAP, was on vacation! This is the level of care we have today!

Dr. Durante is a wonderful doctor. I have been going to him for 20 years. professional, witty and very competent. He is one of my favorite Drs. he takes the time to listen. Highly recommend him. He is definately worth the wait if he runs behind.

Dr. Durante and his whole staff are quite friendly and welcoming. When I checked in I told the lady at the front desk that I wished she wasn't there so I could steal a lovely clock on the wall. She laughed and said go ahead I won't look! I wore a very bright and colorful tie dyed shirt and leggings and Dr. Durante said he liked my outfit. I told him I don't like to draw attention to myself. He laughed right out loud!! (Which was the reaction I had hoped for). He took his time and made some gentle suggestions about my BP meds. He sincerely cares for his patients! And when I was checking out the front desk lady said she still wasn't looking!

My daughter’s PCP referred us to this ENT due to our insurance only accepting them or mass eye and ear. What a mistake. We seen dr. Durante and he was the most unprofessional doctor I have ever encountered. The first thing he says when he walks in to my 9 month old daughter is “ wow she doesn’t look like she skips a meal” he was so rough and had 0 bedside manner. He said their was pus in my daughters nose and swabbed her with a long qtip and made her bleed. It was horrifying I walked out of their bawling my eyes out. Stay far away from this place.

Excellent Doctor, and a well run office. I had been plagued for years with persistent sinus issues, and the VA was unwilling or unable to find and cause and treat it. Doctor Durante was able to diagnose my problems, setup a surgery date, and fix my clogged sinuses from years of abuse while deployed, easily, painlessly and professionally. I highly recommend this office, and weather you're dealing with Dr. Durante himself, or his PA Kyle, they'll set you straight.
