Even during a busy holiday (and flu) season, they saw me so quickly and my prescription order was ready at the nearby pharmacy before I even walked out the door! So impressed with the speed, friendliness, and pleasant care I received here. The folks at APD are rockstars!!
I went to ER and they were super helpful. Got me the xrays and I was out of there in less than an hour with a diagnose and the sling. Everyone was super kind and helpful.
I had knee replacement surgery on my birthday, 4/30. Dr. John Houde was my surgeon. He is an amazing surgeon. His whole staff was kind, courteous, caring and very professional. Josie in pre-op was very reassuring. My son was allowed in the room with me. Grant was my anesthesiologist. The care he took with his responsibilities was impeccable. Amanda, the operating room nurse was kind and gentle. She actually hugged me while I hugged a pillow during the spinal tap. I was reassured at every turn that I made the right decision. My recovery was spent overnight and Nicole and Therese were my nurses. Again, very qualified and reassuring. I received the most excellent care. The chef, Eric, even made me a special birthday dessert. APD goes above and beyond for their patients. I highly recommend this staff. Thank you to everyone and those I may have forgot. Cheers!
Brought my wife to Emergency at midnight Sunday with COPD flareup and severe difficulty breathing' Was taken to a room immediately by admitting nurse and the Attending entered several minutes later to examine her. Went to x-ray, was given respiratory therapy, prescribed meds. Left within two hours feeling much better. Great care by everyone involved. Thank you.
If it had not happened to me I would have thought someone was making this up ended up at my local ER with kidney stones on a Saturday was released with a script for pain and told to follow up with my primary at APD Monday 3 message and several phone calls a receptionist called me back at 5:10 to tell me my primary can not help because I'm a pain management patient I have to them a nurse from pain management called back on Wednesday and told me the doctor want to double on a med that caused me to end up in the ER to start now it's almost 3 on a Friday they can't even fight who can send a referral to urology at a different hospital. I'm better off with a veterinarian than I am coming back to this hospital I will be transferring all my care out of APD
