The care I received from doctors and nurses could not have been better. The facility and equipment was second to none, The food was undoubtedly the BEST I have ever had or seen in a hospital setting. I would highly recommend this hospital to anyone needing emergency care in southern New Hampshire. Thank you to all the professionals who are responsible for me being alive today.
Exceptional, truly unheard-of service at Parkland Medical Center. From the moment I arrived, my experience at Parkland was outstanding. There is convenient parking right in front of the entrance, which immediately made things easier especially with a child. I was greeted by Heather at the front desk, and I can honestly say she is the kindest, most compassionate receptionist I have ever encountered at any medical facility. She was incredibly welcoming, took the time to acknowledge every concern I had, and made my daughter feel comfortable and safe from the very beginning. Her warmth and empathy truly set the tone for the entire visit. Shortly after, Brandon, the RN, greeted us and was just as attentive and professional. He ensured we were seen promptly and made sure we felt supported throughout the process. Finally, Dr. Chino was exceptional—extremely knowledgeable, patient, and reassuring. He took the time to clearly explain my daughter’s diagnosis and next steps, which gave me great comfort and confidence in her care. This level of service is rare and truly goes above and beyond. Thank you to the entire team at Parkland Medical Center for such an amazing experience. Highly recommend!
ER parking spaces are so small I could park the car, but couldn't open the doors. I had to park behind the hospital and walk to the ER entrance. Not a big deal, but someone who is unable to walk very well probably would have an issue. Wife had an injury on her right arm. The service was quick to get in a room. Got checked in while sitting in the room. Doctor came in within a few minutes. X-ray was taken in the same room within minutes after the doctor left. Unfortunately, three people arrived in separate ambulance's and needed medical attention immediately. The doctor stepped in and said he was sorry, but we were going to be waiting until the others were stabilized. We told him, take care of the others first and when things settle down we'll be here. About 40 minutes later my wife was getting a splint and received instructions to see an orthopedic doctor. If nobody showed up with bad injuries, we would've probably been there no more than 45 minutes. I would most likely go back.
Every employee with whom I came into contact was welcoming, extremely helpful and professional. Check in was the friendliest, fastest and simplest that I have ever experienced. The optional aroma patch in radiology was a great idea. All of the people that I met worked to help me feel relaxed, comfortable and assured that I was working with competent professionals.
They love doing the bare minimum at this place. I was lucky enough to come in early and had some really kind and sweet women check on me every half an hour to hour, but most of the time, you’ll just be dealing with new doctors and nurses who really seem to have 0 experience. Was met by a Jewish doctor who had absolutely no care in the world for getting my medical issues solved. Horrible attitude, spoke to me like scum, didn’t ask any questions, wasn’t concerned. I could tell that man only cared about that check at the end of week. Spent 5 hours in the ER for an MRI (unheard of) and had me in a huge room in the middle of the hospital. I watched the nurses ignore the calls for help as they sat on their phone. All just to be sent home with no explanation. how does that make sense? They love giving you the excuse of “it’s been really busy” when the doctors are really just out on lunch or on their phones. That’s no exaggeration. I’ve had IV’s and blood work messed up many times (that have caused physical injuries) and there seems to be 0 competence from the higher ups and head doctors when it comes to resolutions. My doctor at Elliott in Londonderry even told me to stay away from this gutter of a hospital. If you think you’re being treated poorly or not cared for, speak up for yourself and make a stir. That’s the only time they’ll start paying attention. They just wanna get paid and go home. There isn’t any empathy or humanity at this place besides the younger men and women and maybe 5% of the nurses/doctors. Do NOT have any major surgeries or blood work done here, they have caused so many people pain and grief without care. Please be safe and GOD BLESS
