Children's Hospital Colorado, Sleep Center

We spent a full day at Children’s Hospital for extensive fetal testing, followed by a family meeting, and we are beyond grateful for the care we received. Seven members of the care team sat with us and took the time to thoroughly explain their findings and walk us through the path forward. Every single person was compassionate, incredibly knowledgeable, confident, and genuinely positive. From MRI, to fetal cardiology, to genetics, and every department in between, the staff made us feel comfortable, supported, and reassured that we are truly in the best hands. They treated us with empathy and respect during an emotional and overwhelming time, and that made all the difference. We know we have a long road ahead, but we thank God every day that we have this remarkable team walking beside us through it all. Thank you, Children’s Hospital Staff!

We’ve visited Children’s Hospital more times than we ever hoped to, but each time we’re reminded of what an exceptional place it truly is. From the volunteers to the medical teams, every staff member has been compassionate, knowledgeable, and genuinely dedicated. We had a wonderful visit recently. This was our second visit since our daughter had heart surgery at 2 months old in 2008. That was a success! Now 17 yrs later we are here for a new condition. We've never been so happy to be in the care of the doctors at Children's, again! They do go above and beyond and spend a great amount of time with families and patients, but I feel my concerns weren't met 100%. Communication and understanding from patients view was about 75%. I will likely ask for a second opinion at our next follow appt. The experience was great though. Thanks for all you do!

The medical staff at Children’s Hospital Colorado Anschutz are outstanding! We were particularly impressed with the professionalism & friendliness of the DSRD Clinical Trial team with our daughter. Maci, Caroline & Dr. Kammeyer make her feel comfortable, happy to return & positive about her future. We’re grateful for their continued commitment & outstanding care.

I have a daughter with special needs.And I really was not looking forward to the surgery. However many teams came together (child life, ortho, pain team, hospitalists team, etc) to make it smooth. (Id say enjoyable, but surgeries and hospitalizations are never enjoyable). From the preop to postoperative, everything went smooth. Before Childlife brought a weighted blanket, a sensory machine, soothing lights, and her favorite TV show to watch on an IPAD. They put in a pain port pump for my non verbal child, and put up pics of her favorite cartoon show in the postop & hospital room, and got her a toy from that show too. Every day we work together to come up with a plan of action. I had a place to sleep, a great view from the hospital room, and meals from The family resource center. After we left the hospital, and continue to call us while we're at home.With the pain pump. The hospital and the family resource center just made this experience very smooth. For that i'm appreciative, thank you so much Children's.
