Came in for my sleep study test Which started at 7:45 I got to the clinic at 6:50 on the dot and I went to the checklist at 7 PM. I was told that I wasn’t able to do my sleep Study test because corporate themselves canceled my sleep study at 7 PM at night. Corporate, which it was also a Sunday why corporate cancel my appointment on a Sunday, which don’t makes any sense then when I ask for a charge nurse or a supervisor a tech name, Stephanie said that she was the charged nurse and Supervisor, which I also recorded the whole thing then she proceeds to say I can sit in the lobby and wait and see if any of the other sleep study patients show up to their appointment and if they don’t show up then I’ll be able to do my sleep study, but why would corporate cancel my appointment on a Sunday at 7 PM because someone called out of work? just so they can take everyone else after me and if I put it out there, I set for a whole hour and 6 people showed up and You telling me out of all The people who had sleep studies I was the only one who appointed was canceled when I was there on time and I was first And than she came and talk to me and say well are last patient was 5 minutes late so we can’t take you today! And let’s talk about the front desk lady , when I told her that I drove two hours from Colorado Springs to Denver to do my sleep study tonight, she proceeded to call Stephanie and tell Stephanie well she said that she drove 2 to 4 hours here to do her sleep study but she lives on salida Street first off salida Street in my chart is my mailing address where I live is in Colorado Springs so I had to sit for 1hour and 15 minutes after showing up to my appointment on time just to say that since a technician called out corporate decided to cancel my appointment and then had to drive two hours and 45 minutes back home at 7 PM on a Sunday night? This is not okay! And then as I’m walking out of the building two more other people showed up for a sleep study so why was no one else’s appointment canceled why was mine the only one canceled tonight that was so unfair and so unorganized why is this clinic like this? Which lead or supervisor allow it to me like this? And the fact that most of the reviews on this clinic is saying that techs document their vitals and important information wrongly and this clinic hasn’t been investigated is very distrusting !!! The way this clinic and this staff is, it’s not how natural Jewish health promotes patient care I do not believe this clinic should be a part of natural Jewish health and this clinic need a lot of of rebuilding and rebranding and new staff. This is happening too much and a lot of people health is in their hands and they are not taking it. Seriously I plan on filing up a complaint against the staff in the clinic because this is unacceptable. I have evidence of what happened and I am filing a complaint in the morning
I visited their sleep clinic on a referral, but uh... I don't think I can recommend this particular clinic to pretty much anyone. They made a ton of errors on my paperwork (even my vitals, like height and weight!) that took significant effort to get corrected, significantly overcharged me for services compared to the initial quote, and they've refused to provide me with my prescription despite leaving, like... 4 messages. It's impossible to get in touch with someone at the office now - was fine when I was setting up the appointment, but now that I actually want the results, there's never anyone available. And they keep referring my order to some shady company called "BetterNight" that is extremely obscure about their pricing, timeline, and what model of equipment they'll send me. BetterNight has been especially weird - texting me in the middle of the night, calling me on weekends, pretending to me a doctor that was referred to me but then I pick up the phone and it's just an prerecorded advertisement... It's SO weird. They've got a ton of complaints online, and when I finally got in touch with a person there, it took an hour to get a straight answer from him - only for him to admit they'd be charging me a "special rate" of $800 for a model of machine that retails for $300. It's all EXTREMELY strange. I feel like I've been scammed, and the at-home sleep study they charged me $900 for (the "WatchPAT One") is literally less than $200 online. Look it up. I really wish I'd just done that, honestly. Instead I've spent a week pulling teeth to try and get a simple email with my prescription, and I need to set up a payment plan for the pleasure. Let's be clear, I'm not a "freedom-lovin' do it myself screw the man" kinda person. This isn't something like that - I went to a doctor specifically *because* I wanted help navigating this. But when I've been *significantly* overcharged for poor-quality care and absent physicians that are referring me to shady third-party vendors that robocall me at 11:00 PM on a Sunday? Yeah, that's past even my own limit of patience. I recommend seeking another professional for your care.
I called the sleep center with the hope of participating in a sleep study to help me with some sleep issues I’ve been having. Unfortunately, it was a pretty terrible experience. A practitioner I spoke to said they would coordinate an at home sleep study, and that I will have results in 2 to 3 weeks. They then walked me over to a room where I was supposed to pick up the equipment and go home. After waiting for 20 minutes to be given the equipment with no updates, I asked at the front desk if there is somewhere else I could pick up my equipment so I could go back to work. They told me to walk across the street to the sleep center directly, and that they would gladly give me my equipment so I could get back to work. When I went over there, I encountered a very difficult nurse who seemed annoyed that I was there, who told me it would take another 40 minutes because they had to clear my insurance again, and who didn’t seem to want to help me. It took someone else from the back room to tell her that I was already in the system for her to help me, and then she said I’d have to come back in five months to get my results. Puzzled, I told her the practitioner just told me it would only take 2 to 3 weeks, and that I need some clarification because I can’t wait five months. The nurse just stared at me and told me she can’t give me that information. She said all she can do is book me a follow up appointment in five months. I asked if I could speak to the practitioner again, and I was told that wasn’t possible. I essentially ended up just leaving without the equipment and I’m now looking for another sleep center instead. I would strongly advise folks to avoid this sleep center as they are not very helpful, and your time would be better spent getting help elsewhere.
Was told they over-book patients on purpose. They don't send a confirmation email or text, zero instructions for when you get there, no reminders. When you get there in the big building you're supposed to just know that you have to check in at a certain desk before you can go up to check in to your appointment. After the nurse did my vitals and stuff I waited almost another 40 minutes in the room. Was told to go get the at-home study monitor downstairs, but not told it can take up to 30 minutes to authorize. I advise arriving extra early because the location is a nightmare. Will also advise my doctor not to send people here anymore, because this experience was ridiculous.
My husband found a new sleep center and discovered he has central sleep apnea. For years he has been on a machine prescribed by National Jewish for obstructive sleep apnea. They clearly never looked at his sleep data. His machine was doing NOTHING for him. My husband’s health has continued to decline as he religiously used his machine. This place is worthless. If you care about your health, find another provider.
