Absolutely incompetent. I came to be seen here because my Samsung Galaxy Watch consistently showed my oxygen saturation at night to be in the low 70's. They conducted a sleep study which confirmed my watch's findings and sat me up with a CPAP machine. A month into sleep therapy, my oxygen saturation has not improved. My husband called them, as I am unable to use the phone due to a neurological disease, and all they would say was that they don't know how accurate my watch is. I'm shocked that they would ignore the data from the device that brought me to them. From the other reviews, it looks like other people have just as much luck with these charlatans.
BEWARE! I have had three sleep studies at this facility, and each has gotten progressively worse in ineptness. Beyond that, the last one was possibly unethical. They were supposed to determine whether my sleep apnea had dropped from mild to non-existent so my oxygen could be canceled. But instead of monitoring my sleep with no medical interventions, they put me on a CPAP for the lab and then concluded that I needed to be on a CPAP permanently. I notified them of my rejection of these findings, and told them to cancel the CPAP order. Instead, the CPAP arrived in a box at my door. This medical provider cannot be trusted to do what is right or proper for the patient.
Friendly staff but whoever decided to put a sleep study center that close to I-40 is an idiot. I could hear the highway traffic all night long. I looked out the window and SAW I-40! Also the walls were paper thin so I could hear the lady next door coughing all night long. The bed for guests (parents of minor children) was a chair that pulled out. It was extremely uncomfortable. You would think they could make these places a little nicer. I did my sleep study at Sandoval Regional several years ago and the room was a private hospital room that was so nice it looked like a hotel room. If you get a choice go to SRMC.
Was told sleep study was going to be for four hours then when my boyfriend and daughter get there, they are told that they would be there longer. Then when my boyfriend did further questioning, the nurse didn’t like it I believe her name was Jessica but I will most definitely find out that nurses name that flipped her name tag around, so my boyfriend wouldn’t see it when she went back into the room not a kid friendly environment very very unprofessional. It did not like to hear how my daughter was treated. my boyfriend was treated as well. He was told to be quiet because the other people in the room will hear him after they were laughing the whole time. My boyfriend and daughter were there, she kept mentioning the insurance will bill me personally if my boyfriend and daughter decides to leave my daughter was at the point of feeling very very uncomfortable and just wanted to come home to her mom so she can get comfort after another female was being awful to her. She told her can you move , you need to stay still you can’t lay that way so you are telling me that if my daughter is not able to fall asleep and sleep study fails and she’s going to go in again that I’m going to have to pay out of pocket does that make any sense? It’s called sleep disorder .
Pres’ Sleep Medicine seems pretty disorganized. I brought in my BIPAP’s serial number and it was connected to WiFi at home. I was told they couldn’t connect to it or read it from the office. The doctor said I needed an updated sleep study and that my insurance didn’t need a pre authorization. When I checked out, I was told it could be up to 14 days before I’d even hear back on if the insurance authorized it. I told the check-out associate the doctor said I didn’t need a preauth, but she said “We run everything through insurance. That’s just how we do it.” She very much dismissed my concerns and was hurrying me out. I was asked to bring my BIPAP in for reading, but the doctor works from home and is only in the office on Wednesdays, so I had to wait a week to bring it in to be read. A convenient schedule for him I suppose, but not for patients. After it was read, they said they’d be in contact with me. I still haven’t heard from them about the preauth I may or may not need from last week, so now I’m waiting on calls about scheduling a sleep study, filling my durable medical equipment, and my BIPAP nightly numbers. We’ll see!
