I had a grat experience with the Audiology department today. My ears were clogged and has been bothering me for a week now so I did a walk in.Johnny one of the receptionist found a way to squeeze me in and was called in within 10minutes. Andrea one of the technicians help me out and de clogged my ears in a timely manner..I am really grateful for the service. I hope and wish that all the people that works there will be like them,very professional . Once again,from the bottom of my heart..Thank you so much ❤️
The wait times!! Good lawd... Pharmacy, bring a book and a snack because you're going to be there a while. Dental? Forget about it. Moooonths before you even get a call to schedule you for an appointment! If you miss that random call months later....
My wife and I are both 100% P&T, and the El Paso VA Main Clinic has consistently taken excellent care of us. The dental clinic is phenomenal—though appointments can sometimes take a little while, the quality of care makes it well worth it. The radiology department staff are always professional, friendly, and attentive. The community care process can be a bit challenging at times, but it does pay off in the end. On top of that, the cafeteria food is surprisingly delicious. Overall, the El Paso VA truly takes pride in caring for veterans, and it shows in the way they treat us.
I recently moved to New mexico from Colorado. The VA hospital in El Paso is very easy to find. I found the staff there to be very helpful and courteous. They treated me with respect.and I was seen at my appointment time and had no problems. Although the care that I got in Colorado was just as good, the wait times for many things there were much longer than they are here. I am happy with the VA clinics and hospital here.
The kindness that every single worker demonstrates/ gives can honestly be very overwhelming the first time you enter the building. It is perhaps because, we as veterans, are used to the rough and tough military terrain and it's people. That said, coming to this Center on Piedras is by far the most exciting thing that has happened to me since I retired. I love the attention and respect given to me; the same that is given to other people. If anyone complains about this place, they likely are just in a mood or choose to be unhappy campers. This place offers a guaranteed smile or all least, SOME FRESH POPCORN (haha). Good lord, the smell can be overwhelming, but the people LOVE IT! Also, the place is convenient due to the many clinics available in one place, but it also has a "shop" for folks to grab a drink or whatever they may need to snack on, etc. To wrap it up, being completely honest, I am truly glad to see that there is greener grass after the military. In my case, after the interesting chaos called the Army. I am grateful to the entire staff. I am even considering joining the team! What better way to continue to serve others, than with a team of professionals that make it worth considering! Thank you EPVAMC!!
