I've been going through a sleep study to determine the level and condition of my sleep apnea. Special thanks to the entire staff who have been professional, polite, very understanding and accommodating. The facility is kept super clean and very organized. Honest review there's no place like home but I had a great experience here 😊 🙂.

Terrible communication, surprise billing, and unprofessional handling. Avoid this place. I will not recommend Las Cruces Sleep Center. My doctor referred me for a sleep study because I was constantly tired, had daily headaches, and low energy despite getting sleep. Two days before my scheduled in-house study, they called and asked me to come in that night instead. I couldn’t because I was taking care of my dad, who has cancer. They rescheduled me for Friday. When I arrived, the technician said she didn’t even know I was on the schedule. They had to scramble to find working equipment because theirs wasn’t functioning. The walls were thin, and it was impossible to sleep. I never reached REM, so my results were inconclusive, meaning I paid $450 for nothing. When I went to pay my balance for the in-house study, the office told me to wait because the take-home study would likely be covered by my $450 payment, since the in-house study didn’t work. They set a date for me to pick up the machine and said they would call first to confirm whether the $450 would cover both studies. They never called, so I didn’t pick up the equipment. Later, when I was supposed to come in for the results, they called to confirm, and I explained I hadn’t done the test because I never received the equipment. They apologized and said someone would call to clarify. Eventually, they informed me the in-house study would not cover the take-home test, and I would have to pay the difference. A manager called a week later and said I couldn’t get the $175 take-home price because I had already done a study, meaning I would have to pay full price. I explained this was unfair since the doctor recommended the take-home study due to the inconclusive results. The manager said she would speak with the doctor and technician and get back to me—but she never did. I am still waiting for a resolution. The lack of transparency, poor communication, surprise billing, and unprofessional handling of appointments made this process a nightmare. I am still without answers about my sleep issues and out hundreds of dollars. Avoid this place.

This Sleep Center is unprofessional and incompetent. I was seeing VA specialists for my sleep disorders, and opted for community care after my VA doctor resigned from their position. Less than 24 hours before my first appointment with Las Cruces Sleep Center, a nurse calls and tells me to give them the referral. I had to explain to them that if they need any information that they should contact the VA directly, as they do not give physical copies of referrals to veterans. They supposedly have a lot of patients that are part of the VA healthcare system, yet they don't understand how the process works. The day of my appointment, the actual doctor, who the VA paid to see me wasn't there, so a nurse practitioner was assigned. She told me that the VA didn't give them my medical records. I explained that it's their responsibility to contact the VA and ask for any pertinent records, and that all of the details should be reviewed and assessed in order to properly consult patients. You can't consult anyone to the best of your abilities if you refuse to read medical records. Instead of apologizing and owning up to their sheer laziness and indifference, they doubled down and tried to argue with me. After the appointment, I contacted the VA to tell them how this appointment went. The VA verified that every provider that is part of the Community Care Network is given a packet with relevant patient information, and detailed instructions, which includes instructions on how to attain additional medical records. The VA also understood and agreed that healthcare professionals can't provide adequate consultation if they don't read over a patient's medical records.

I have been to other sleep centers for sleep studies. My experience at Las Cruces sleep center Tops any visit to other centers. Both times i was scheduled for studies my staff member was Michael. Michael made sure I the patient was comfortable he was very informative about what to expect during my sleep study, very professional employee. He went above and beyond his duty as an employee very thankful for compassionate and understanding health care providers whom take their jobs seriously. As for the center it self it was very Clean from the lobby to the rooms.Very comfortable settings. beautiful room and restroom.I highly recommend if you need a sleep study to schedule it with Las Cruces Sleep Center. The doctor was prompt to contact me after receiving my results and explained in detail how i did during the study. Would like to thank the staff at this center for a wonderful experience and great patient care!
