had an incredible experience with my son’s hematology/oncology doctor, Dr. Mona Nourani. She was truly amazing! empathetic, patient, and so validating of every concern I shared. She never made me feel uncomfortable or like my questions were out of the ordinary; instead, she reassured me and took the time to explain everything clearly. She showed such genuine care and affection toward my three-year-old son, and it was obvious she truly loves working with children. She also connected with me as a mother, showing both empathy and understanding during a very overwhelming time. She was thorough and supportive, going over all the testing, next steps, procedures, and his full plan of care during the visit without ever making us feel rushed. I am extremely grateful for the kindness, compassion, and professionalism that Dr. Mona Nourani demonstrated, and I feel confident knowing my son is in such caring hands.

Not exactly what I expect to see in a children’s hospital ER. The room we were placed in had an unknown sticky substance all over the floor. Housekeeping was supposedly called when we arrived, but three hours later, nothing had been done. I had to step around it and carry my child over it to avoid contact. The bathrooms were equally unsanitary—one toilet had feces smeared on the seat. I’ll spare the photo. When I pointed out the sticky mess to the nurse, Goddess, she dismissed it, saying, “Sometimes children have markers and stuff.” When I said that couldn’t possibly be what it was, she snapped back, “Well it could be.” Later, when I again asked if the room could be cleaned, she told me she had called housekeeping again. I nodded, and she yelled, “Did you hear me?!” If this is how visible areas are maintained, it raises serious concerns about the rest of the hospital’s ability to uphold basic cleanliness—let alone the sterile environment needed for safe medical care. I have never seen a medical facility in such unacceptable condition, especially one treating vulnerable children.

I came in because my daughter Isabella unfortunately hit her head today and I was very emotional and crying when I came in and Anna at the check-in noticed me upset and asked me what was going on and walked me all the way to where I needed to go and made sure to comfort me the entire way. She was very, very kind to me and really helped calm me down when I first came in the entire staff was amazing. Our nurse Lauren took amazing care of us, Doctor was very fast and thorough and he made sure to go over everything with us before we left. I very much love this place and appreciate the staff for their warm and inviting nature. Thank you!!! I’m happy I was able to tell Anna‘s boss myself how amazing she was. She definitely helped a lot and nobody realizes how much of a difference that makes. Cute gift shop as well!

Brought in my daughter for an appointment with the dermatologist here at Phoenix Children’s Hospital. Karla, Jordan and Amanda in Clinic F on the second floor were very sweet to my family and I during our visit and were really warm and friendly with my daughter and son. They answered all of mine and my wife’s concerns and were very thorough and professional through the whole experience. Thank you for taking such good care of my family! I also appreciate them acting so urgently to get us to through this process for my daughter so she can get the care she needs as fast and safe as possible. I love this hospital and highly recommend it with at least 10 stars if I could!! Two years ago, I had my son‘s tonsils removed at this very clinic as well. It’s always been a great experience. Thank you for the Minnie Mouse Duck Karla my daughter loves it!
