The staff was very friendly and nice but from the start I did not like the location. They charged me $196. I thought I should’ve only been paying 50 or 60 she said you’re paying for the facility whatever that meant then when I met the doctor, he was not Enjoyable. He made me feel like I shouldn’t be going in there like what’s what’s my problem he’s not gonna be giving me medication when that’s not what I was asking for. I was just trying to get another sleep. Study to see if I had narcolepsy just very unhappy actually would never go back there ended up getting a $69 refund because they overcharged me and went to another Doc Doc Ort on Thunderbird and he is the best I will definitely
STAY FAR AWAY FROM VALLEY SLEEP CENTER!!! They will get you in for a consult right away. You’ll do your sleep study within a week or two after the consultation. Once your sleep study is done all of a sudden they can’t get you in to go over your results for 2-3 months, which is a joke because their follow up was like 3 minutes long. Imagine having to wait months and pay another $150 for a 3 minute conversation… Then they’ll send texts at random times if there is a cancellation that you can take so you can be seen sooner, you’ll reply immediately and then several hours later they’ll tell you the spot was filled by someone else. It’s a cash grab, getting new patients in the door but once you’re established they really don’t care about you. Sleep Apnea is a serious and deadly condition, they certainly don’t treat it as such.
I went in for a consultation with Dr. Michael Lepire after my primary doctor referred me for a new sleep study and machine, since I was previously diagnosed with both sleep apnea and restless legs syndrome (RLS). Unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing. Instead of listening to my medical history or reviewing my prior diagnosis from Intermountain Health in Utah (one of the largest and most reputable health systems in the state), Dr. Lepire brushed off my concerns. He stated that I “probably” don’t have sleep apnea and that I “don’t have” RLS—despite the fact that these were previously diagnosed and continue to affect my quality of life. He seemed dismissive and uninterested in ordering the proper testing. Sleep apnea is not limited to people who are overweight, and RLS is diagnosed based on symptoms. For a specialist to disregard both my history and my reported symptoms was troubling. His attitude made me feel like my concerns didn’t matter, and I left the appointment with no confidence in his care. I will be seeking care elsewhere, even if I have to pay out of pocket, because patients deserve to be heard and treated with respect.
I showed up 4 minutes late, i was directed to the wrong address in MAPS. I was then told i would need to rescheduled since my PPW was not filled out prior, which i received no warning on. "Lesley T" receptionist was rude, and showed no flexibilty to accomodate to alternate schedule for the day. I took time off work for this appointment and will never be coming back here. I understand there are protocols in place, but please train your people to show empathy and flexibility when speaking to a customer. You lost a customer and got yourself a bad review for this poor attitude.
I couldn’t be happier with our experience at valley sleep center. From start to finish, Cheyann was incredibly kind, patient, and professional. She made our little one feel safe and comfortable, which helped ease any anxiety we had as parents.
