Had total hip replacement. Dr. Karrasch and NP Christopher Tatton performed the procedure. This is my 11th surgery. I had never been to them in the past. Choosing a surgical team can be overwhelming, I’d have to say they are the best team I’ve encountered. Professional and knowledgeable, paired with great bed side manner and very personable. Excellent post surgery care. The nurses, techs, therapists and admin all get five stars. They truly care about your well being and it shows. Hopefully this was my last surgery. But they WILL be the folks to slice me up if there’s a next time. Great experience!
My heartfelt thanks to all the staff that attended to me so expeditiously. It was a bit of a scary morning for us, but you all were just wonderful and assuring. The professionalism was present most abundantly.
Overall it was a good experience. I went in for a same day surgery. The hospital was supposed to to call if the Doctor was backed up but they did not. Waited an extra 2 1/2 before going to the OR. Secondly, they were supposed to call my family while in recovery so the Doctor could talk to them. No phone call! So, we don’t know what happened completely in surgery. I just wish they would have been better about the phone calls.
I will forever drive from Santaquin to Nephi just to be seen by anyone here at this hospital. Hands down, the best care from any other hospital I've been to. CVMC truly has some of the best, most experienced providers out there!
My total knee replacement surgery at Central Valley Medical Center was great, and I really appreciated the care I received. The staff was kind and positive, making me feel like a valued friend in a comforting and happy environment from the start. Before my knee surgery, the team explained the procedure and recovery clearly and patiently, so I felt confident heading into surgery. Their helpful approach eased my worries. During my stay, I was cared for with attention, always kept comfortable and informed, which made the experience special. The surgical team, nurses, CNAs, and physical therapy team were all excellent, checking in with smiles and doing their best to make my surgery and recovery smooth. I’m grateful for their great care. I strongly suggest choosing CVMC for knee surgery or orthopedic care.
