I would recommend Lone Peak Hospital to anybody who would like exceptional care! The Pre-Op, PACU and Post-Op teams are phenomenal. They were kind, caring and efficient and I felt so well cared for! Dr. Marshall, his PA Scott and my anesthesiologist, Dr. Miller were all amazing! Thank you for a 10/10 experience!
The care my mom received was truly outstanding. The entire staff — including her surgeon, Dr. Scott Adelman — was exceptional. Everything was explained clearly and thoroughly, both before and after her surgery, and every question or concern we had was addressed with patience and care. The entire nursing staff was incredible as well. They checked in on us regularly and made sure we had everything we needed. Dr. Tony and the Anesthesia Department were also wonderful. The cleanliness of the facility was extraordinary — you could practically "eat off the floor". Unfortunately, I can’t say the same for any hospital in New York.
My experience was incredible. My pre and post op were spent in a private room with sliding glass doors to prevent noise from the nurses station. All of the MA’s and nurses were amazing and so caring! I was checked on regularly, even before I had to ask for anything. The surgical team was also very caring. I recommend Lone Peak Hospital highly.
I’ve delivered 2 baby’s here. My first was during Covid. After my C-section I was moved to a different room. The nurses forgot me and didn’t give me pain meds for about 12 hours. At that point I was in extreme pain. I was never told/encouraged to walk. I didn’t know what was okay to do after the surgery. So I didn’t walk for 7 days until I was headed home. Even then I was wheeled out to my car. With my second baby my husband stepped out for an hour to go home on the 2nd or 3rd day. While he was gone my pain started getting intense. I called the nurse to help me walk to the bathroom because I was extremely weak from the pain. She came in opened the bathroom door and said go ahead and proceeded to stare me down until I got out of bed and walked to the bathroom by myself. I also assisted my sister in her birth the week before I delivered and the nurses were very rude to me. They bullied my sister into certain choices in her and babies medical treatment. When I advocated for her they lost it and had an attitude and raised their voice at me. I was not shocked as they bullied me into the same way for my first and again with my second. This is the worst hospital to deliver at. I’m live about 5 minutes away and will definitely not have any more babies here. I’ve had a handful of friends I’ve warned not to go here and they have decided to deliver else where.
Absolutely blessed with this team of professionals, they took care of my wife as she went into labor, handling each situation and need of hers with care and obvious skill. I personally want to praise these professionals: Dr. Melicher Nurse Stephanie N. Charge Nurse Ashley B. Nursery Nurse Irina E. Respiratory Therapy Keri R. I felt they were both safe and in hands of people who truly care. Thank you from our family to your families.
