Had an appointment at 10am, I waited 45 minutes to be brought back for my appointment. I came in due to passing a kidney stone 14 days prior. Doctor came in stating it was a busy morning. My entire 5 minutes appointment felt rushed, told him I was still feeling pain under my rib cage and he said “don’t know what to tell you about the pain”. I then preceded to pass another kidney stone the next day. Now I know there’s not much they can do about passing a kidney stone, but the appointment and doctor himself felt rushed and as though he was doing the bare minimum. I felt as though I had no time to actually talk to the doctor about my concerns. He made it clear he was running behind and that in turn made me feel like I needed to keep the appointment short on his behalf. I’m not sure what’s going on with all the granger locations. I experienced this same issue at the Riverton location with my OB Doctor. If I have a follow up appointment I will go again and see if it goes any better next time. Overall first visit was a bad first impression.
I have been seeing Dr. Waterman for the last 5 years. The first time was during covid finding out I had kidney cancer and being unsure, concerned and yes scared. From the first time I met Dr. Waterman and his staff I was reassured, had a plan in place for my care, and recovery. Dr. Waterman explained every detail, how he was going to proceed with surgery and ongoing care. He took time to answer all my questions. Here I am five years later CANCER FREE and doing well. I cannot thank Dr Waterman and his staff enough. If you are going through a similar situation. You will be in good hands With Dr. Waterman and his staff.
Dr. Hadfield is just wonderful! I feel like he genuinely cares and actually listens to my concerns. I have never felt blown off (like I have with other physicians in the past). I’ve actually been going to Summit Urology for a few years now and have liked everyone I’ve seen there, but Dr. Hadfield is my favorite. I have a long history of bladder issues and switched to Summit Urology from the UofU and have been very happy with the care I’ve received. The staff is great too!
I saw a female nurse practitioner. She was excellent! She listened to all my concerns, conducted a thorough exam, and discussed my treatments options. She was so patient with me. I really appreciate her advice. I will recommend her to all my friends.
Scheduling the appointment was not the best because I was referred by my primary physician and told the office would call me. I had to call the office after a few weeks of not hearing from them. They worked to get me in as soon as possible to make up for the lack of communication. The appointment itself was good. The Dr was confident in what he believes is going on and thorough. I was happy with my appointment and doctor.
