First of all, Dr Michael Catten saved my life by doing surgery to mitigate a severe infection in my throat. He has been very responsive and professional all along the way. He was encouraging and supportive through my 50-day ordeal with a feeding tube and always reviewed the results each time I had an esophagram with the hope that the tear in my esophagus had healed. During two visits to his office, he spent extra time with us, explaining causes and effects of my situation. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

As a retired university professor, I have always valued professionalism, respect, and integrity in any field — especially in healthcare. Unfortunately, my recent experiences over the past two years with this clinic have reflected the opposite. My uncle’s appointment at the West Valley location was abruptly canceled without proper communication. Upon arrival, the nurse practitioners displayed little courtesy or acknowledgment, which was both disappointing and unprofessional. We were then directed to the Magna location, where we were left waiting in the examination room for nearly 45 minutes while the physician took their time. This lack of regard for patients’ time and dignity is unacceptable. People deserve to be treated with basic respect and compassion — not as numbers on a schedule.

Very disappointing experience. From doctors to nurse practitioners, there’s a consistent lack of professionalism — frequent prescription errors, condescending attitudes, and poor communication. Appointments are often canceled on the same day without notice. Louisa, in particular, was dismissive and unhelpful. I would not recommend this clinic unless major improvements are made in patient care and reliability.

Recently went here for my annual physical. Dr. Justin Ingraham was really nice, but everything else about the clinic was disappointing. I had my blood drawn after meeting with the doctor. The person who drew my blood was very obviously inexperienced. I never had trouble getting my blood drawn, but she couldn't get into my vein and kept moving the needle under my skin. Eventually she had to try the other arm and she did get the vein this time, but then she popped the needle out right as the vial was getting full and a bunch of air bubbles got into the vial, which she told me wouldn't affect the results, but honestly I don't know if I trust that. And because she popped the needle out, I bled quite a bit. Never bled that much from just a blood draw. And now I'm left with two bruised arms. I was told that I'd get the results within 2-3 days but didn't hear back after a week. I left a message for them in the patient portal and wrote about the terrible blood draw and the air bubbles. When they called me back, the person on the phone was rude. She told me that she was looking at my results and everything looked normal, and then said that the bubbles wouldn't affect the result. I still have not received my results in the patient portal. I don't know if I even believe the test was successful. They already billed my insurance so I can't even go to a different place to get the test done and have it covered by insurance.

Friendly, attentive receptionist. It appeared Dr. Catten had been double-booked for my appointment. However, I had minimal wait time. This was my first visit to his practice. My first impression of Dr. Catten...FRIENDLY. He came in with a 😃 smile, which we all need when visiting a new facility and a new physician. Although he was super busy, I feel like everything went very well. My prescription for antibiotics had to be adjusted after I picked them up. The nurse sent him a message and within a short time, I had what I needed. Overall, I would recommend him. I was comfortable with the nurses, staff, and Dr. Catten. Will be using him again. (And I'm very picky). Thanks to all the staff!!
