Dr Simmons is excellent for all sleep problems. Great doctor I have used for over a decade.
The clinicians, particularly Kahlil and Stormy are both helpful. Otherwise, I don’t have a lot of good things to say. They are hard to reach and responses to written inquiries are not promptly returned (based on business norms). Recently my sleep apnea has improved, and I believe Stormy will continue to help me with it.
My daughter Jenny H. Is a new patient and so far we have had excellent care. Jenny was interview first with a new PA and I have forgotten her name but she was very througher. Then she met with Stormy and she gave us even more excellent information and said Jenny would need a EEG which they have done and now have an appointment for the sleep study. The front office is run by Christy and she has been the best I have had the pleasure to work with. She is very pleasant and has explained the procedures, insurance and calculating what the insurance will pay and our part. With the cost of healthcare this it is very important to have the figures so any family can make sure they can afford the test. Christy has done an excellent job of that and also telling us what needs to be paid at the time of testing or office follow ups. Christy has already booked our follow-up visit. She also knew we needed to get this all done before the end of the year as things can change from year to year with healthcare. Christy made that possible. We are grateful for how we have been treated and everyone’s help from visits, to working with insurance and all other departments that are behind the scenes. I have retired from Human Resources and this office should be commended for their efforts. Thank you, Mary
Dr. Simmons is ALWAYS late! And if you get to see him at all it's through a laptop screen. Now that I'm not seeing him any more their billing office has accused me of not paying for 2 of my visits - which I always paid at time of service. They turned me over to collections twice for $50. One of the visits I had cancelled days in advance and they said I didn't show up. I paid it anyway... Their staff is a mess and I don't advise going to them.
They are incredibly slow, unresponsive, and they aren’t proactive and letting you know what your next steps are. I didn’t get my BiPAP machine for almost 3 months after my sleep study. The wrong information about which mask and pressure was sent over to the company. I can’t get a refresh of supplies because they didn’t send our appointment notes over. They didn’t suggest a titration study when the CPAP didn’t work for me. They waited until I reached out over a year later desperate to suggest it. I don’t feel taken care of or like I trust them at all.
