Effective communication, mutual respect, patience, and attentive listening are essential components of a strong physician-patient relationship. Unfortunately, my first visit with Dr. Siddiqui did not meet these expectations. He arrived more than 30 minutes late to the scheduled appointment without offering an explanation or apology. During the consultation, I felt that my concerns were not fully heard, and the interaction lacked empathy and attentiveness. Medications and tests I had previously undergone were ordered again without sufficient discussion. Despite experiencing difficulty breathing, I left the appointment feeling rushed and overlooked. I plan to seek care from another provider within the practice. Patients deserve to feel heard and respected and this should be a standard.

Since I started going to Gwinnett Sleep, I've finally discovered the secret to a good night's sleep! Throughout the entire process, the staff has been incredibly kind and helpful, and my sleep quality has significantly improved.

DR. PRASAD S. GARIMELLA was negatively judgmental and shared those thoughts while mocking my/our sleep and lifestyle patterns during the initial appointment (survey and questionnaire session) in front of another doctor/staff member and my spouse. Made sarcastic comments, random sighs and scoffs, shook his head, and made demeaning perplexed facial expressions after some of my responses. Very unprofessional and condescending. Did not want to return to him as my doctor cos he made me & my spouse feel bad about our lifestyle/sleep habits. Also on the visit report, he wrote lies. He wrote that he advised the patient (me) this or that when he never did. My spouse was witness that what he wrote on the report didn’t actually happen during the visit. When I asked for a new doctor for follow-up, he was pressuring me to speak with him (thru scheduler) or I else couldn’t do a follow-up appointment there. I shared to the scheduler why I don’t want him as my doctor and asked for someone else. Scheduler listened and agreed about his unprofessionalism as it was not a surprise to her when I asked if others have also complained about him. She said yes. The scheduler finally gave me a follow-up sleep test appointment with a better, more professional pulmonologist. Gwinnett Pulmonary & Sleep’s got a bad apple and hopefully their business doesn’t suffer by keeping this unprofessional doctor onboard. All other staff are at least friendly and helpful but they don’t go above and beyond. Just “meets expectations” basic customer service, which is much better than Dr Garimella’s behavior. Complaints about no one answering the phone is true. They will call back if you leave a message at least, but at inconvenient times for the patient. Get ready for phone tag. They should answer their phone extensions more than not when patients call them. Pharmacy is the best at answering my calls compared to the other departments.

Great practice. Doctors were exceptional and explained things clearly and made sure I understood them before moving on. I love the virtual check-ins the day prior especially for new patients. Reduced day of paperwork considerably. Would highly recommend!

The entire staff was just amazing!! Front desk, medical assistant, the doctor, check out and pharmacy was just the best! I felt like I been there plenty of times but nope it was my first time. Very professional and welcoming. I felt like I was in good hands. I’m a respiratory therapist and let me tell you, just when I thought I knew a lot about OSA there was more to learn. The doctor explain everything and asked all the right questions that I didn’t have to ask any. Thanks again! I’m so glad to be part of this group.
