Our Dr was late but now I know why. She spent so much time with us and didn't rush and very attentive. Everyone was nice and helpful.
I brought my 98 year-old father to see doctor Johanna Yun for a double vision problem with his eyesight. She was very knowledgeable, spoke to us in a way that was very detailed and understood. And did everything she could to help him. She was wonderful with my father. Her follow up with Spot on and everything she said she would do for him she did. Excellent physician.
100 stars for Nicole Megali PA-C. The most incredible bedside manner and so easy to talk to, she truly makes you feel heard and it is clear she actually cares. Have had communication issues with the office in general, but NEVER with her and at the end of the day that’s what matters most to me.
Avoid. Terrible staff, they don't know how to run a business never mind a medical office. Takes MONTHS to get a simple image or appointment. Appointments are wasted because of staff errors such as FORGOT TO SEND a FAX and egregious errors in notes. Recco find an alternative.
This appears to be an immature organization in terms of care coordination, quality management, and physician training on patient/provider interactions. Dr. Johanna Yun (neurology) failed to inform me during my appointment that staff are mandated to report losses of consciousness to DMV and that my drivers license would be formally suspended due to a simple fainting episode. Neither Dr. Johanna Yun, Christina Latonio (office manager), nor Alex Zylak (Director of Operations) could clearly communicate the standardized process or steps involved to reinstate my license. I called the office, sent MyChart messages, and even emails via Gmail from May - June. Receiving support took over a month. When I could finally discuss with Dr. Yun, she immediately became defensive, interrupted me, and escalated the emotional tone conversation, leading me to wonder if she has ever had basic customer service training. I also asked multiple staff- several times- what the process/policy is to file a formal grievance and still have not received a response. Based on my review and others, The Neurology Center clearly does not put time or energy into investigating, analyzing, or rectifying poor patient experiences. I suggest the center looks into its care coordination processes (my referral was also delayed and not communicated) and implement standardized patient feedback surveys that are reviewed on a weekly or monthly basis.
