This place needs to be shut down. I would give it a -5 if I can, please spare yourself and never go here. I went into the hospital after a couple days in pain with my pain only escalating. Got back to my room explained what was going on and was left alone for three hours with my nurse coming in one time saying that he didn’t forget about me but the doctor said I was breathing so I’ll be OK. After waiting A really long time they finally came in to give me a tiny bit of pain medicine. The medicine only helped for about 20 minutes and then I was in severe pain. I let them know that I just started my menstrual cycle and was not offered anything to help clean up or keep the blood at bay. A couple hours later I went to CT still in a tremendous amount of pain. Nobody was keeping me updated on anything. I pressed my call light three times and nobody answered. I needed to use the bathroom and get cleaned up from the blood that was dripping down my leg nobody came in to help by that time. My fiancé got there with a tampon. I put it in pressed my button again because I still needed to go to the bathroom. Nobody came so he went out there to find somebody my nurse came back telling me I could walk to the bathroom. I was telling her that I can’t because how much pain I was in she called me a liar and pushed a trashcan toward me and made me pee in a trashcan. I was in pain and severely upset, so I was talking to her, trying to get things figured out and she proceeds to yell at me from the hallway into my room no shit you’re in pain and said the reason that I was there which I didn’t even know I had a very painful cyst. They came in to drain the cyst and gave me a shot that was supposed to numb it. It did absolutely nothing and when I tried telling them that it did nothing and I could feel everything they were doing. I was throwing up because it hurt so bad they continued to drain it even though I was screaming, throwing up and crying that I could feel everything that they were doing. They put a Band-Aid on it didn’t give me any more medicine and discharge me. Now I’m on my way to Reno Hospital because I am in tremendous pain two days later and the area is infected. I will be reaching out to the board of nursing to file report as well. There was a lot more that happened, but this is just to summit up. They did not take my pain seriously.
Shared imformation Checked all vitals and and my meds. We discussed any updates I needed to know about and get other testing if any. Also if there were any other concerns. She is as always very pleasant and easy to talk to. Love her as my primary Dr.
I’m amazed on how much HGH has grown on all aspects. The care the staff take for their patients is absolutely comforting, they make sure the patient is safe and comfortable. I came in an hour early and the doctor did see soon after l came in, He was very knowledgeable of what l needed and proceeded with the help that l needed. Thank You 🙏 so much HGH. Keep growing for us. We definitely need more professionals in such small growing community of Winnemucca.
Dr Sam is very personable , easy to talk to. Explains thoroughly every step. Cass (his nurse) is fantastic. They both have gone over and beyond helping my husband to acquire oxygen.
I walked into this hospital in labor, never having been here before and very new to town. The L&D nurses were nothing short of amazing. Every person I met here was compassionate, friendly and supportive. Your nurse can make or break your experience, and these girls made it for myself and my husband. They made me comfortable, always offered to help with anything I could possibly need. Gave my son goodies when he came to visit me postpartum. The providers were great, open and honest. We all had no doubt that we were in great hands. My first child birth in a completely different state was planned, but this experience here topped it and then some. If you L&D girls see this, thank you from my whole little fam.
