I just want to say I had an excellent experience at Sturgis Hospital on Wednesday. The check-in was quick and easy. And it was very affordable and easy to pay! I went in for X-Rays & they got me right in. The X-Ray tech, Drake, was phenomenal. He was quick, efficient, and very knowledgeable. He even wheeled me out to my car in the snow! He went above and beyond. And all the of staff were very helpful! Well done, Sturgis Hospital & thank you!
Went in to have a skin tag checked bc it was inflame. Left very disappointed bc they didn't do anything aside from looking and taking vitals. Paid that same day which I knew I was going to bc I had no insurance. A couple of weeks later I get a bill. Talked to the financial advisor and turns out what I paid was an "estimate " which they never clarify that on the day in question! Ended up having to may more bc of this reason. Which is wrong and bs. Never going there again. Can't trust them with my health if they can't be truthful when they are charging you!
If I could give them a zero I would because my fiance went in because he came home and couldn't move his hand barely and they just sent him on his way no x-rays or nothing. This hospital just needs shut down.
Sucked 5 years ago and still sucks now. Wouldn't recommend this place to a person on the verge of death. The staff are some of the rudest people I've ever met and none of them seem to know how a hospital should function. Lord forbid you have to change your insurance also or you'll end up jumping through hoop after hoop just to get the bill denied and sent to collections on your credit anyway. Save yourself the time and headache and just go to three rivers
I can't say enough good things about SH. My daughter cut her hand open and ended up getting 10 stitches. Every staff member we crossed paths with was so kind and helpful. They each made my 10yo daughter feel very comfortable and they walked her through everything they were doing so she could understand. The facility was very clean. We will be going back in the case of another emergency.
