My boyfriend has been here quite a few times. The doctor he saw last was very rude and disrespectful, but legally what this doctor is doing is called "medical negligence". Even though my boyfriend has repeatedly told them that the machine is not working and that it makes him dizzy, the doctor refuses to switch him to a bipap machine instead. He could also be prescribed Zepbound, which was recently FDA approved for my boyfriend's condition, but he refused to even try to prescribe anything for him at all. My boyfriend asked for a referral to UCSF, which his insurance said is the next option they are contracted with, but his staff said "We don't give referrals for NOBODY." Then when we met with this doctor again asking for a referral to UCSF, he said they don't do that because referrals are "too much work" and that he would never ask his office staff to do that. In my view, I wonder if this doctor is getting kickbacks from the company that rents out the cpap machines. I wonder this because that is the singular thing the doctor is willing to do. No referrals, no meds from this doctor. He's absolutely 100% unwilling to do anything other than prescribe that particular cpap machine, even after being repeatedly told that it's not working and that it makes my boyfriend dizzy when he uses it. I hope he loses his license. Sleep apnea increases risk of stroke. I would rather see it happen to this negligent "doctor" than my boyfriend.
Tried ordering replacement masks a month ago and they keep saying 2 weeks and call the supply center and it was never ordered . Rude and lazy people.
This practice is horrible. Do not go here. The technicians (at least the ones we’ve seen are rude), most of the time that don’t actually appear to know what they are doing. Stay away.
The office is very clean, the staff and doctors are all very nice and helpful. they make everything very easy from start to finish.
The staff are great! I've done 2 sleep studies and the staff have been very friendly and accommodating. Beds can be uncomfortable depending on which room they give you. I also recommend ear plugs if you are a light sleeper.
