I had a very positive experience with this sleep clinic. At first, I was worried about sleeping in the clinic for the sleep study, but I’m glad I decided to do it. The sleep technician was extremely professional and knowledgeable. I was even allowed to use my own bedsheet, which made me feel more at ease. The environment was very comfortable, the air was fresh, and I ended up having a great night’s sleep. Dr. Alex reviewed my results in detail and answered all my questions thoroughly. Cynthia was also consistently supportive throughout the entire process. Overall, I’m very satisfied with my experience and highly recommend this clinic.
I wouldn’t waste your time here. Beyond disappoint. He was rude as hell but I stuck with it just to get help. He told me to schedule yet another apt to work on managing my sleep medication. Then at the apt he stated he wouldn’t prescribe anything because I wasn’t wearing my cpap consistent recently. Even though I had told him several times my cpap does help me. It’s also not what the apt was for. It was for troubles sleeping, not for cpap. His explanation why he wouldn’t prescribe doesn’t even make sense. The guy even will get mad at you and raise his voice. Heck, even his affect at baseline is angry.
I would give zero stars if I could. I don’t know where to start… the crazy mess and stacks of papers and books which borderlines hoarder status behind the Dr in the first zoom meeting should have been the first red flag. The second red flag should have been the time and unprofessional hours their office staff reaches out to patients. 7-8pm. The third red flag… the lack of communication. The fourth red flag… being told to arrive for a sleep study on a day they are not open. I rearranged my schedule to make it work. Showed up to a closed building. Called that night left a message. Got a call back several days later and was told that I had made the mistake of thinking it was the night. (I put all appointments and times on my calendar.) Fifth red flag- they were late by a couple of hours to a follow up appointment via zoom. You get the picture. I’m just beating a dead horse. They constantly forgot about me. I would have to call and nag about what the hold up was. 8 months… 0 resolution. 0 sleep machine. 0 follow ups that were genuinely them reaching out. Their follow-ups were always in response to me calling them upset due to lack of communication. I called recently and was told my next follow up appointment was in 3 months. Follow up to what?! I don’t have a prescription, a sleep machine, nor was ever told what durable equipment vendor to use! They mentioned they would send a machine over a month ago… and nothing. When I mentioned this the receptionist said that they would reach out closer to that appointment with where to go for a machine. (After being told they would ship it to my address in November!) what is going on here? No one can run an effective practice like this. Highly unprofessional and the worst experience I have ever had. How do they stay in business?! Again… I would rate 0 if I could. For comparison… I was with Kaiser over 5 years ago and their sleep clinic had me in and out with resolution within a few days from my take home sleep study. SleepMS would have me wait close to a year… with 0 resolution. To some this timeline can be deadly if they have severe obstructive apnea. Save your time. Save your money. Have your Dr or insurance refer you to someone else. Messaged my primary care and insurance to switch clinics. I’ve had enough.
I'm so impressed with MS sleep, Cynthia is amazing! I deal with anxiety and she really understood where I was coming from and she helped me to calm down and relax. Dr. Alexander was very thorough with all details if I had a question, he was right there with answer. If I wasn't sure about something he would take the time to go back over it till I was sure. He said to me "this is your time" that made me feel important. I highly recommend MS sleep to anyone who is suffering from sleep deprivation Ron
They knew my insurance would no longer be accepted by the end of the week. I was in desperate need of help and didn't want to wait another month for another referral. They did their best to squeeze me in and I was able to get my sleep study and diagnosis before my insurance was up. I truly appreciate all their hard work and professional caring staff.
