I had a sleep study with Bay Sleep Clinic back in May and my experience was great. The admin team and their Sleep Tech are top-tier. They were super helpful and made the whole Process easy and straightforward. The Facility was really clean. I was in a very spacious room with the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. I also like the fact that I had a few choices to choose from of where to go grab breakfast before heading home. Overall, my experience with Bay Sleep Clinic was amazing and will definitely recommend to friends and family who may be needing a sleep study in the near future.

I second the dishonest billing. I was referred here by Kaiser with the promise I would only pay my Kaiser co-pay and deductible. Instead I was told I had to sign their payment agreement which was inconsistent with the agreement I/they have with Kaiser. I refused to sign and left the facility but they had already taken and charged my credit card a $75 copay. As I was leaving the facility, the "owner" who was on the phone with the representative at the facility said the charge would be cancelled. It wasn't. I called the phone number listed on the charge with my credit card. No response. I have opened a dispute with my credit card bank. Ultimately, no services were provided and I did NOT agree to your payment requirements as I did not sign them. You have no right to charge me anything. Terrible business practices. Update 8/4/25…. Only after writing this review did the business reach out to me and to their credit offer to refund the $75 I was charged. That said, there is no “misunderstanding” on my part. I didn’t take issue with paying you the $75 copay. And I didn’t cancel the appointment. You did. I showed up on time but I took issue with the extortion letter you asked me to sign that required me to pay whatever amounts you bill my insurance that they don’t pay. That was never the agreement. The agreement was that I pay my copay and deductible only. Maybe you should update your forms since they are tailored for people with PPO insurance seeking your services and not people referred to you through Kaiser which is an HMO not a PPO.

I had a study on 6/6/25, and had a great experience. Questions were answered to my satisfaction, and personnel were polite and professional.

I know this review goes against other opinions, but this is an honest perspective from my standpoint. I am a Veteran being separated from the military and this clinic was assigned to me to conduct a sleep study. I received information on what preparations needed to happen prior to the study as well as a date secured weeks in advanced. Given my situation, I called the clinic directly, bypassing the Veterans Administration, to see if I could potentially find an open slot sooner. They told me there was none available, but they would let me know if one opened up. Having been told this before with other medical facilities, I doubted there would be any follow up. To my surprise, Amanda called me two weeks before my scheduled appointment to ask if I was available that night because of a cancellation, but I was not available as I was out of town for work. A week later, Amanda followed up again to ask if I wanted to be bumped up from a cancellation to which I was able to. I followed their instructions, arrived early, and completed the sleep study without issue. Upon completion, they handled my paperwork in a timely manner to which I am grateful for. I have no idea the cost at which they resell their medical equipment, but I am a business owner myself and definitely understand the cost to operate a business here in the Bay Area. Not bashing on other peoples experience because I don’t know their situation at all, but sometimes not everything is up front as it may seem.
