I came here a while ago because I was experiencing a toxic medication reaction. I waited 10 hours before being able to get into a room to see a doctor. Dr. Kuston came in and told me I was wrong about what was happening to me and then had me see a crisis counselor(CC). The CC was confused about why she was seeing me because I was not displaying any type of behavior that would need her attention (she told me this). Then I was sent home. So I got zero help with what I came in for and assessed for … the psychiatric ward? I also later found out that he wrote I had used marijuana recently in my chart, which I have not, and then did a drug panel test while I was there, which obviously came back clean but cost me $500. The entire experience was extremely discomforting and now Im expected to pay upwards of $1000 for this visit. I highly recommend finding yourself another hospital.

My mom and I visited this hospital yesterday. Only giving two stars because of the stellar service we received with the NP assigned to us. After my mom checked in and they took her to triage, we waited in the waiting room for a room. Then, a nurse called her back in to take some more bloodwork. The nurse didn’t seem like she cared about anything at all, she kept dropping my mom’s blood vials on the floor and other supplies she was using on the floor. My mom was so weak she could hardly move and when the nurse was done she told me to wheel her back into the waiting room. She didn’t even help me at all and my mom was seriously sick. We waited some more in the waiting room, thankfully we didn’t wait a terribly long time for a room since my mom was in seriously bad shape. When we got to the room the floor was dirty. Our NP admitted that housekeeping did not come to the room to clean it up and that she cleaned the room instead. There was paper and other stuff on the floor of the room. We got to the ER at around 2pm and didn’t leave until after 7. We were able to leave, but the NP and DOCTOR both said that we would have an appointment tomorrow with OBGYN and that OB would call us to fit her into their schedule since she was in a pretty serious condition. I asked TWICE to confirm that this was true and that they were going to give her an appointment tomorrow. They assured me that what they said was accurate and they could see her tomorrow. I don’t understand why hospitals make promises they cannot keep. We just got a call from the OB department saying that the ER cannot make calls like that and say they could “squeeze” my mom into an appointment, because that’s not how it works and they don’t do that. So, the hospital confirmed to me TWICE that OB would call and see us tomorrow so to keep ourselves alert for that expectant call. They lied to us, absolutely unprofessional and terrible customer service. If you’re not desperate on time and can afford to travel to a different ER, I highly suggest that. Do not waste your time coming here.

Went to the ER for abdominal pain and it ended up being my appendix. I had to stay overnight and had surgery the following morning. The experience from start to finish was exceptional. The entire staff (ER, Transports, Radiology, MRI, 5th Floor, Surgical Dr. Federer, Anesthesiologist) cared with knowledge, kindness, and in a timely matter. I was left wanting nothing. Thank you to the hospital and its attentive staff for making a scary event approachable and healing.

Avoid this hospital by all means possible. My experience at the Swedish Hospital Birthing Center was extremely disappointing and concerning from both a medical and administrative standpoint. During my stay, several unfamiliar individuals entered my room without introducing themselves or explaining their roles. This was very unsettling—especially since my newborn was with me at all times. The room itself was uncomfortable and unclean, and there was only one bed. Despite my repeated requests to be discharged, I was pressured into completing additional, unnecessary procedures before being allowed to leave. To make matters worse, I was later billed for a “nursery stay,” even though there was no nursery service provided at any point—my baby never left my side. The billing codes appear to have been duplicated or entered incorrectly, and none of these charges were ever explained to me beforehand. This lack of transparency is unacceptable and feels deceptive. Nearly a year later, the hospital continues to claim I have not made payments, even though I have a documented payment plan with consistent monthly deductions. The ongoing billing confusion and lack of accountability only add to the stress of what should have been a joyful experience. Overall, I experienced poor communication, questionable medical practices, and serious billing errors. I would not recommend this hospital to anyone seeking honest, professional, and compassionate care.

First time here for a mammogram. I used to go to a different place. I was able to quickly find a schedule here surprisingly. I booked it just 2 days ago. I came early but they were able to attend to me without having to wait for the appointment time. The waiting area was big and clean but a bit warm. I'm not sure if that was the A/C or my hot flash. The technician was friendly and swift. She only took 4 photos and seems confident everything was clear. I often had multiple takes at the other place and it was often hard on my bossom. But this experience today was not too hurtful. I was out in no time. There is next door parking for $4 the whole day. You don't get a ticket when you come in and you have to pay in the lobby. The parking checkout was a bit confusing and I think I was double charged. But I'll call my credit card for that. Overall, I like this one and will continue to come here for my mammogram. It's much closer to me too.
